Natasha, the cashier was a total bich as we checked out. We had about 8 items and she accidentally rang up 2 of our items with the people before us. We apologized but she just kept whining. I said; I'm positive he didn't forget to put the divider on purpose. More complaining and no, "it's fine, no worries," as we are the customers. I tried calling the number on the receipt but it's "no longer a working number?" That's weird. The store on Middle Tnpk's won't see us again. Apparently they need help so bad, they put up with mannerless trash. The people behind us were rolling their eyes. Bye Stop and Shop in Manchester

I stopped into this location picked out $75 worth of flowers waited 10 minutes for the lady to acknowledge me from behind the counter as she was playing with her phone. I asked her if these went together. She simply looked at me and said the sunflowers are too big, turn around and never look back. There I stood for another minute or two as a customer walked up and was smiling at the lack of disrespect coming from the Stop & Shop associate in the floral department.

Absolutely a disgrace to the Stop and Shop brand. Deli counter has served me rotten meat, deli employees are rude and make 'inside' jokes about customers in front of their faces. It's a hole of grocery stores. Only met 2 friendly employees. It rates a 1 compared to Glastonbury which rates a 9...shop elsewhere.

We're sick of this-insert p*** emoji- who is eating ALL the cream cheese? Where is the real cream cheese? You can't just have boxes of "cream style cheese" there. Wtf

While in this store I felt watched. I went to self checkout as I usually do and I felt watched by Janet at that register. I was having issues with my register so she helped but then stood behind me the entire time watching everything I scanned I felt like she was outright calling me a thief. To the point some grapes I had rang up with that incorrect code and she jumped in and explained loudly the grapes are $10 more and if I wanted them because they're very expensive. I was as if she was calling me poor, and unable to afford anything. I was with children at the time and even they were annoyed and wanted tot leave the store without buying anything. I Think I'll head back over to ShopRite for good, the extra gas and ride is worth not feeling like a criminal.

I was there a week ago and didn't feel safe. Most of the employees were not wearing masks. With the new cdc guidelines most other stores employees are following them. I had a response from a google review that they are now following the new guidelines. Went there today and their employees were still not wearing masks including in the pharmacy and the deli. They have removed the direction markers in the lanes. I will not go shopping there again.

Quality control is sorely lacking at this store. In the last 2 weeks I bought a bottle of creamer and the next day realized the seal had been broken. So someone actually screwed the cap off and pulled up the seal. I returned it to customer service. On my 2nd trip on July 14 I bought 2 packages of lunchmeat. 4 days later I realized one had expired on June 27th, the other expired on July 12th. So the store isn't good about pulling expired products off the shelf. Took them back to customer service. I'll have to watch expiration dates more closely, but frankly I only shop at this store in an absolute pinch because it's closer to home. But its depressing and looks dirty. I prefer the Stop and Shop in Vernon. Or I'll go to Big Y.

If I could give zero stars on this I would. Just to clarify this is for stop n shop in Manchester store number 689. While the management team seems to legitimately care about their customers, it seems that a few of the employees do not. For example, I took my mother shopping today and the young woman whose name is Tiffany was flat out rude, sarcastic, and had no sense of customer service whatsoever. Let's not forget she had to be asked by my mother to wipe off whatever meat was on the cutter from a prior order. Flat out if that had been a man speaking to my mother that way things would have gone a whole different way. Naturally I complained to the manager who said she would handle it right away. However as a result of this I will not be bringing my mom to that store EVER again for deli meats. I'll happily take her to shop rite or something. It really is a shame on how that store has gone downhill, I know this because when I was a kid that was one of my first jobs and all of us there loved working there. It was fun, managment was amazing, and we advanced within the store. It seems like a majority of the employees there are just there for a check... I'm sorry but I'm from the belief that take pride in what you do. I dont care if it's a groc store, or flipping burgers, or cleaning toilets..take pride in what you do. Do it right or dont do it at all.. I've noticed that a good amount of employees at this store just dont care and think they are entitled to have their job. What they fail to realize is everyone is replaceable, business is business. And what happened to my mother today was bad for business. Hopefully this gets to the corporate offices and they can look into properly training some employees. Not saying all of them are bad because I have encountered many employees there who are smiling and happy to help.. all I'm saying is this store needs to rid itself of the Tiffany's and get more smiling faces.

No social distancing at the self checkout, they had every other register opened as I was checking out she opened the register right by me I asked about social distancing and she looked at with this blank look on her face. I left all my stuff and left. I will never shop here again

I am giving 5 stars for the hard-working employees, especially Erika in the produce department, she is always friendly and ready to help . Right now with the COVID-19 crisis people are panicking and buying out everything in sight. Employees are diligently restocking shelves and accommodating customer requests.

Me and my mother come to stop and shop in Manchester a lot. But lately they lock the entrance to 1 of the doors in the mornings. So u have to walk all the way around. I can't imagine some one old walking to the other side, cause they r old. It just seems like Stop and shop could careless about its customers!

Friendly staff, good selection: has gluten free items, lots of produce, ready made foods, sushi, deli is pretty good just once I got meat that went bad in about a day. Other than that one time, no issues. Store is remodeled and looks nice.

Ate one of their pre-packaged stop and shop greek salads and got food poisoning. A night and experience I will not soon forget. Called the following day to inform them. Was put on hold 3 times to speak to management. I was told that the managers must be busy and that the message would be relayed to them. I have been a customer for around 30 years.....no more. You're not the only grocery around.
