Hardware Stores
Hours: Woodcraft of Manchester is a terrific store with a terrific and knowledgeable staff. They are very nice people who are there to help, offering a mom and pop personal treatment. The store has an amazing selection of tools, finishes, and accessories, both big and small. There is a nice selection of exotic woods and small plywood pieces for crafts, with a good amount of wood available to purchase. They also have project kits for kids and offer woodworking classes for adults. The staff is helpful and not snobbish. They are willing to listen, answer questions, and make recommendations. They are known to take time to help customers, even when nothing is in it for them. If they do not have an item, they will get it. The store is a solid favorite for woodworking needs, from clamps and saw blades to larger tools like lathes, bandsaws, and tablesaws. It is a cool local source for supplies where the staff gets customers excited about woodworking.
