I’ve been shopping here for years and the cashier Mindy always brightens up my day. her attitude is amazing and she’s always so kind to me. i look forward to being cashed out by her when i come in. total asset to the company and i wont shop at any other dollar tree because of her.

I am a regular customer at this store (at the Eastbrook Mall) every day, sometimes multiple times each day. After reading the recent reviews and seeing quite frankly the most ridiculous postings about bad customer service here, I had to post my experiences and opinions here.
First, this store has some of the BEST cashiers, and most friendly staff of ANY Dollar Tree store I have ever been in. If you go to the Willimantic store on main street, all you ever get from the cashiers or staff there is a grunt whenever you talk to them. These Dollar Tree employees inn Mansfield are always talking to their customers, and going the extra mile to help people find whatever they are looking for.
Second, Yes there are often uboats all around, but what people in these reviews don't seem to mention, is the staff that is always working on these uboats. Dollar Tree (the business as a whole) doesn't allow the stores to do night time stocking, so yes there are always staff working these uboats all over the place. If you dont see a stocker working a uboat chances are they are the second cashier up at the register moving the lines. People dont realize that Dollar Tree doesn't give stores a lot of hours for stocking and extra staff, so the managers are often the only other assistance the cashier has. So if it seems like a manager might not be paying attention to a customer, chances are they are already in the middle of something else for another customer, or on their way to assist a cashier. Go easy on these people! They get paid garbage, and have the world heaped on their shoulders!
As to the comments about the store being messy, I have PERSONALLY witnessed CUSTOMERS (kids / high school / college students) come in and make an ungodly mess in teh store. They treat the store like its an amusement park, and leave these messes that the employees have to clean up. The other day I watched a mother WATCHING her kid spray silly string around the toy aisle. The mother laughed at her kid, then just left the mess and continued on. That is NOT the employees fault, but the parents fault! You want to see a cleaner store, then tell parents to PARENT and keep their kids in tow instead of letting them run wild through the store. Dont blame bad parenting on the employees of the store. Sometimes you wonder why an employee might not be he happiest or most cheerful - chances are they had to clean something like this up for the 10th time in their shift.
I give the employees of the Mansfield store tremendous kudos for the positive shopping environment they create everyday! The job you do sucks (based on pay, hours, and crappy customers at times), and you do your absolute best to keep things going with a smile. So from an actual appreciative customer - thank you! To the people that want ot complain, maybe YOUR personality isn't suited for this store! Thank you Mansfield Dollar Tree employees for a wonderful shopping experience!

Absolutely the worst dollar tree I been in. Isles packed with uboats full of merchandise all over. I asked Rich manager for something and he pretend not to hear me. A blonde employee was just as bad. Place needs to be shut down. A lady named Cheryl shouldn't be there, very rude and she has been making allegations about someone stalking her, completely not true, I know this man and there's no way their true. She is a completely liar and doesn't need to be there. There are court procedures starting against dollar tree.

The cashier (receipt from today says sales associate Sheryl) is a total Karen every time we go. At this point I'm just gonna drive over to the Mansfield location.

Was shopping with my kids and husband. We each had a child with us. We loudly hear “Sheryl” who’s an employee there state “all of these parents need to start watching their children” I look over and ask her if she was talking about my children because they have been behaving the entire time at the store. She was upset that a small item was on the floor in the hair section and at that point we started to argue.
Sheryl instead of letting it go went over to her assistant manager to complain again about a minor inconvenience because she had to do her job. The assistant manager handled the situation very well and I will be making sure that I speak to the manager.
It is disgusting to make remarks about and argue in-front of children all because of an incident that happened earlier in the day with another parent and their child.

Last night i went to this store and bump into this young girl all flirty with me showing me picture of her in her phone while in the clock. as i leave the store i waved bye to her and she walks outside i told her to have a goodnight and ahe starts screaming at me to leave her alone to stop harrasing her. i got in my car and left went to the police station for false accusation. my sister goes in the store to talk to the manager and all he was able to say i will talk to her. Its insane how now a day job let issues like this just slide. greatfully all this happened while theirs security cameras any where else whos really the problems ? its always the men. so everyone just be careful coming into this store and bumping into this employee. not profesional at all.

I'd like to give a shout out to Shannon the cashier, for her helpful, positive manner. After paying for my items with a credit card , I asked if I could have 2 5's for a 10. She calmly called for a supervisor to unlock her cash drawer, and calmly filled my request. I thanked her. She was great.

Yes first off I shop at Dala tra ?. Not dollar tree.. You can get anything for any needs from feminine products dishes food cleaning products partie supplies pet supplies automotive phone accessories u name it. Only thing you can not leave with the shopping cart! Know how am I supposed to carry my 40 things from dolla tra to the car? Two trips I guess ? Great place to go form something qiuck. Lines are usually long but thats due to customers like me. I can use this let me try this than get to the front like maybe I don't want that. ?
