I purchased a sleeper sofa Ashley's from this place in September 22 . When they brought the sofa it came with tons of small tears n rips- I spoke to the manager at the time and worked out a deal for the price because they wanted a total of 2000 for the leAse before I called and complained about the damages - now in January I started having issues with the metal frame of the sofa called several times and was told they couldn't find the item or that my extra insurance doesn't cover any of that - long story short I finally got a hold of a manager and he was kind enough to offer service - last week in Thursday -they called on Thursday to cancel and rescheduled for today Tuesday to then tell me it's a courtesy and they can not help me . Although I have been trying for months - it has become a hazard and their is no way of folding it

I'm never going to Aaron's in Meriden, CT again. They can come and get the mattress and frame. I don't want them anymore. Terrible experience. The manager didn't listen and then accused me of giving them permission to charge my account. She says the other customer is her witness. My account is not the business of other customers.

I have had to lease to own furniture and other items for my home due to no credit, and have done so through the Meriden Aaron's for the past 6 years. During that time I have had good and bad experiences depending on the stores general manager. Mostly they are willing to work with you, during the pandemic especially and for that im grateful amd would have reviewed them as a 4, but they changed the GM 4 times in the last 6 month's. Today I called because I agreed to pay the 2nd week of the month on my new lease, but a brand new GM. Sonya, argued with me that my contract doesn't state this, or cared about the agreement Hoggie, the last GM, made with me, nor that I'm a 6 year customer, Instead she talked over me, aggressively and was angry, I am only 5 days late, my unemployment year ended so im in the middle of waiting for my new claim to start and wasn't paid today and am broke now, she intimidated me, as Aaron's can do,threatened to come take my dryer until I could pay. I asked for one week extension and she refused to let me have the week. She said I wasn't working with her and she needed $43, which is all the money I have to run my household with my 2 daughters. She continued the aggressive intimidation tactics and offered me the corporate number for my complaints. With this GM I would not advise you making a purchase here. Also their invoice system is so confusing, often different from my rown records, you really need to keep all receipt transactions. It was a good store . This franchise may be in financial troubles, be thorough when researching. Im very upset by this treatment.

Kala is an awesome Manager but the other staff are unprofessional. The first bedroom set I got was all scratched and looked like someone punched the back of a dresser.Kala did order a new furniture set. Kala scheduled me for delivery the prior week on a Thursday. I called to confirm it and someone said I wasn’t on their schedule.Kala confirmed I was. They came around 8:00 that night. Took the other furniture brought new furniture into the bedroom. Scratched my floors. Scuffed my bedroom door and walls.Gave me some lame excuse not to install the drawer handles. That took a half hour for me to do. Left a mess.I already had other things to do. Automatically charges my debit card the same morning. I never said I wanted EZ pay. I told Kala to take Me off EZ pay. If I get another charge next time, I am calling corporate. I already called corporate the next day. I also called Kala. She seemed sincere and apologized. It seems all these bad things happened on her day off and then Jeff, (General Manager) was on vacation. Things seem to go smoothly when one of them or both are working.I actually feel bad their staff acts this way when their not working was told they were having staffing issues. Which I appreciate the honesty. I hope Management can get it straightened out. Of course when you’re payment is due, that’s when they communicate with you.If it wasn’t for Kala, I wouldn’t do business with them. My wife is fed up as well since she’s the account holder. There is another Aaron’s closer to where I live. We did not do business with them because they are rude and put you on hold for like 5 minutes.I am sorry I had to post this but other customers have a right to know my bad experience. If another bad incident happens, the store can have their items back and I will never do business with any Aaron’s ever again.I highly doubt the Regional Manager will call me either.I don’t know what has happened to this company. I didn’t have issues before. I’ll let the Regional Manager know it wasn’t Store Management’s fault.I hope they straighten things out there.

Sets of furniture with monthly payment plans. Not great for just picking one couch. Quality is OK but overpriced with limited options.

This Store is Very unprofessional they double charge people who take the time to call in their payments on time then give them a run around when it comes to a refund. Will never do business with them again.

No pressure sales team and good values here. If you have hard time making a payment on your item they work with you and don't just show up at your house like some other company does . They have couches ,TV's and even washer/driers . Go check them out

If I could leave negative stars I would. Ok so back in August 2018 I purchased a TV/Xbox bundle. My fiance purchased the same bundle and a bed as well. While I admit I have more often than not been late on payments, I have ALWAYS stayed in constant contact with the store manager and she or he approved the dates that I was able to come in and make the payments knowing I am on disability and only get paid once a month. It went on this for months, now my fiancee has lost his job and is returning his items. I have two payments left on my Xbox and tv before I own it and all of a sudden I am getting phone calls about how they can't wait for my payment and how they want to come take my stuff. They also stored mine and my fiancees credit card information after we clearly told them not to and they have been randomly attempting charges at all hours including an attempt at 5am which sent a message to my phone waking me up. No common courtesy and no compassion at all for people they claim are good customers. I will be calling cooperate today and filing a formal complaint and after my last payment is done I will never return here again.

Been a customer here for so long always nice to be able to get something I can't afford paying monthly lol employees for the most part are helpful and polite though sometimes you get the one employee I wouldn't say is rude I wouldn't say unprofessional either both are to harsh but just speaks with somewhat of a street essence and I am put off by it but this is also rarely . I always tent from here because I do like the buisness and if your looking to rent i would recommend them
