Bed wasn't super comfortable. A little too firm for me. Clean and nice.

Unfortunately my trip was cancelled due to circumstances out of my control (mother nature does it's own thing) 1 day prior to my visit. I went through the Holiday Inn itself and through my booking agent and they were unwilling to work with me as far as a refund or even rescheduling a date further in the future to try and accommodate mother nature. If you book a reservation with them (or through an agent) make sure to get insurance as they don't seem to be willing to work with you at all. Unfortunate as I was looking forward to the trip. Will not be booking here in the future though I'm sure 1 person isn't much of a loss to them.

The employees I was able to speak with at the desk were so great! They felt southern to be honest, I was blunt to say the higher (up the coast) you go the less friendly it usually gets but not here. My only disappointment was the pool being worked on so kids were not able to enjoy it… but overall had a great experience and would gladly come back and visit the area! Management I forgot the name of the two girls/ladies that worked at those nights but they were phenomenal and professional! Very helpful!!!!

Second stay here and I already had to move rooms because they put loud people across the hall from me. Staff was great and did allow me to move. Next day I came back from work to discover the maids threw away my brown bag with my k cups in it. Manager didn’t handle the situation right so the poor girl at the front desk had to use her own money to pay me for the mistake the maids made. Manager really should have rectified this.

Honestly bad experience, More than 5 people agreed and argued with the lady at the breakfast area, she was horrible. Also, NOO FOOD AT ALL. They closed breakfast @9:00 when people were still arriving, they were upset. Also the room we had, was a family of ants and we requested a new room. Absolutely horrible. People paid for breakfast and the experience HORRIBLE.Also, who knows what is in the pool. Only the night shift was good. ALSO FOUND CONTRABAND… in the draw. The lady at the front was respectful.Rooms: Ants.Food & drinks: NO FOOD, horrible staff. Close at 930 NOT 1030. i guess.

The woman who checked us in was great, very friendly, and helped us right away. The room was very large and clean. The breakfast was great with many options available. There was a gym which was nice. Also a pool, the pool area definitely needs some upgrades. The pool wasn't very clean and the cement surrounding had some rust stains. But all in all a great stay

The family and I are a little disappointed with this Holiday Inn Express. The elevator was dirty. The room had a little candy on the floor missed by the staff. The overnight staff needs to be trained how to operate a hotel on the overnight. Both staff memebers can be found anytime watching TV in the guest lounge so other guest think the room is already occupied right up to 6am. The non front desk staff parks his car at the front door all night and it's still there at 8:15am. He parks directly in the middle under the over hang so no one can come, go or even unload. It's a joke how the staff operates at night into the morning. It has such potential with the pool which has great hours and a fitness center. Who doesn't love free breakfast! The suite was nice sized for all of us too The staff at night has unfortunately ruined us on Holiday Inn Express and we will try another brand next time we are in the area or anywhere for that fact. Tell the staff to stay out of guest drop off on a rainy day and night. We stayed Saturday December 2,2023.

Maybe it was just an off-day but it didn't seem that way. The smell of weed was frequent, even in the doorway of our room. The room wasn't great, guests were loud, and there was a banging sound all night long. Would not stop here again. Not up to par with most other Holiday Inn Expresses.

Room smells musty. Not the cleanest. After a long drive, waited 20 minutes or more at the desk waiting for the desk clerk. She seemed like a nice person, but after such a long drive I'm so tired - It wasn't something I was expecting.Considering the cost, I should have just gone to a Marriott or Hilton.

Nice Hotel but underwhelming… big room, but it looks so awkward because there is so much random space. The bathroom could have taken up that space, because it’s too cramped. Air conditioning sounded like a construction site. Had to turn it off. Pool was ok, but also way too loud and not that clean. Breakfast has a cool design, but the pancake maker didn’t work and the eggs were just a big loaf? they have hot chocolate, chocolate muffins,… a lot of stuff which is very nice… even bagels that aren’t just plain like in other hotels. The beds were clean and very comfortable! The view is a broken fence btw

Not a bad place to stay.Much better than the Comfort Inn !The room was clean and spacious , Dove products in bathroom, friendly and polite staff and a decent hot breakfast with variety .

An old building- my room, 229, was big, yet was furnished with only a small table and two chairs plus the small dresser for the TV. So much empty space! Bathroom was ok until I saw the bathtub! The shower curtain smelled musty and the grout was discolored/moldy.

I tried so so hard to keep this internal and not have to post a negative review, but the lack of follow up from IHG corporate as a mediator between myself and the hotel led me to review what I consider the absolute HIE I have ever stayed in over the past decade (with probably 25 or so locations under my belt). We had two rooms, the larger one with the kitchen was excellent and we had zero complaints about that one. The other though, my goodness was it bbbaaadddd. This place had a comedy of errors from the get-go, it's hard to even figure out where to begin. But here are some of my biggest complaints.- The breakfast room felt like the A/C was busted and never got below 80 degrees the three nights we were here. I thought it may be linked to the sliding door nearby from the entrance but the air conditioning seemed to be working fine right in the lobby next door, so that wasn't it. It just made the whole experience completely uncomfortable as you dripped sweat into your food. - They never replenished our towels in the room, they just took them and decided to not give us new ones. Even if housekeeping thought we were gone for the stay, why were they not replenished for possibly a next guest? See the attached photo. - Moldy shower curtain and broken shower drains in our room was a nightmare to get our sons bathed and safe in. - The pool was just mysteriously closed for more than 72 hours, it opened back up the final morning as we were checking out. - The men's bathroom next to the pool, the only public bathroom outside of the rooms themselves, was completely clogged and disgusting our entire stay. You would think they would call a plumber to have this fixed immediately but given the lack of any concern or follow up by management for any of the issues they had, it is not surprising this lingered for 3+ days. There was more but it's just exhausting to type it all out, I've given enough reasons for others in terms of our experience to make the best informed decision about you deciding to book here or not. I tried getting some points back for how bad this place was and never got follow up from IHG directly after reporting the issues above. Avoid this place like the plague, there is a reason rates are so low as well as the points to book rooms. I don't know if they are close to closing but top level management does not seem to care one bit about how the location is perceived.
