What started off as a good experience turn into a nightmare. I went to this HR Block in February 20 24 and they were done on the spot with no issues. A year later I went to go see a CPA regarding some things. It turned out that my tax preparer made an error with the child tax credit and I actually owed the IRS $1000 plus whatever interest was due. I thought H&R Block had a guarantee on their services, but you need to purchase an extra $40 guarantee in order for them to cover any additional money owed to the IRS. They will only cover any interest if you don’t purchase the extra $40 guarantee. When I was there, I was told the office manager would put in a request to refund the cost of how much it was to prepare my taxes for last year, but it turned out that the district manager didn’t want to resolve the issue and she wasn’t going to help resolve the issue. I guess they don’t care about losing a customer. Please save your time and go to a CPA.

Too expensive to File your Taxes they charge you for everything itemized. Business taxes $450. And to file state taxes they charge you an additional $45. and that comes out to about $500.00 that is over priced if your not getting a return.......

Service was good until I tried contacting my preparer that the IRS website stated that my federal was deposited through direct deposit (even though I didn’t give bank information) and I still have yet to hear back. I understand it’s tax season and they are busy, a simple reply to help would be nice!
