La Poblanita Grocery LLC is a clean and friendly family shop. It is both a restaurant and a Mexican market. The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. The market has a terrific selection of vegetables, sauces, cheeses, pan dulce, spices, and candy, offering more than the average store. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food. Reviews find the tacos, carnitas, barbacoa, and carne asada to be absolutely delicious, extremely flavorful, and with lots of meat. The salsa has the right amount of kick. Meals are hot and drinks are ice cold. Portions are big and prices are fair. Some reviews note the food is okay but not great, finding certain items like tamales or pozole less satisfactory. Many customers highly recommend it and plan to return.
THE BEST TACOS IN CONNECTICUT. Certainly that I've had. Amazing choice of fillings, simple, delicious and always friendly service. Everything else on the menu is also great, with the tamales being a big favourite.
