“Well. It’s a grocery store. There is sales and there’s shelves of the same crap they have in other stores.
I only shop here when there is a sale. I’m talking about.99 cents a pound for chicken. ITS CHICKEN!!!! What happened to .40 cents a pound Mostly bones chicken. Without gizzards. Whole chickens. I think they are so cheap and getting the money from customers who are perhaps stupid. To pay money for bones. But anyway. Produce is good and looks good to the eye. As well as produce dept. meat dept and seafood. But why so much money. Where’s the sales on every day needs.
Yes. Place is clean. Bathrooms. Etc.
What about everyday people. We aren’t millionaires. Where’s the sales. And clearance food”
“The only stores left in Newington commons us Wal-Mart Panera Bread Lazy Boy and Verizon Wireless on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. Staples had closed on 3/7/2025 on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington at Newington Commons.”
“Westside pizza, The banana leaf and Century package store. Westside Pizza is delicious, one of the best pizzas in Rocky Hill. It is family-owned and has been running since the 80s, I definitely recommend it!
The banana leaf has delicious pho ?!!! Drunken noodles, pad Thai and spring rolls are all very delicious at this new spot!!
Century package store is family owned as well and it is a normal package store, they have a large variety of special liquors.”

“Here yo can find Winners (off track betting), Advance Auto, Uncle Ben’s Jamaican Restaurant, Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, and several other small businesses.
It is a little sketchy in this plaza at times, but there is often a police foot patrol on the premises to offset this. I believe that it is mostly safe.
It is a very busy and popular plaza… which is good.”

“Let me start by saying all the workers at the stores are friendly and helpful, but the stores are far and few between, and I personally like to go to a store and see the physical items and I don't know call me crazy interact with people.Well if you're Christmas shopping and don't want the crowds Meriden Mall is the place.Granted it was a Sunday but this was the second time in December I have been there and the last time was December 2nd 2023.”
