Lots of fees and promotion comes with lots of conditions. Not a good bank to have account. Goto a credit union for better rates and more transparency.

Jack is the BEST!!!@! He is so helpful..always in a great mood..I drive 20 extra minutes just to go to citizens in Middletown...Washington St. I am 63 yrs old and never had customer service that jack provides!!!!! He always remembers my name..B6 the way everyone in that location is amazing...and I mean everyone.....if you are looking for a bank...or tired of lousy customer service or crazy costs just to bank there. Go to citizens bank Washington St Middletown and see Jack...lisa..sharon...errgula...or joana

I received an offer via mail about a month ago. I have not had the chance to open an account until today, April 13, 2024. I arrived at the branch at 11:35 a.m. , to be turned away. A teller stated to me, “the banker is with her last appointment and we close at 12:00.” She told me that I could make an “appointment” if I wanted to.
The photo below has three options- call, COME IN, and appointment. Why is “COME IN advertised as an option if it is not???♀️ I wasted my time and gas driving 30 minutes to get here.

Never use mobile banking on a Saturday. And if you are going to ASK THEM TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN DETAIL like depositing a check through mobile banking on a Saturday and not having access to your funds til effn Tuesday. And then if you think some supervisor or higher up can help? Forget it they can't as they are limited to the levels of a bank teller. Ridiculous. I learned my lesson. Never using that system again

Having moved from Florida and opening up an account with this bank today (01/18/2018$, I have to say, I'm impressed. Back in FL, to open up an accnt, they ask for a lot of unnecessary information to do so. Not this bank. The process was easy and the staff were very professional and genuinely nice. So far, so good. I definitely recommend this bank.
