We worked with the CT Wedding Team for our wedding at the Pavilion for 2 years and they were amazing to work with from day one. They were there for us every step of the way and really made the all of the planning as low stress as it could be. The entire team is friendly, responsive, and VERY good at their jobs. My niece and her husband had their wedding at Lyman Orchard Golf Course on June 14, 2025. I have attended many weddings through the years and I have to say the staff of CT Wedding Group was phenomenal. I have food allergies and our server was right on top of it. She brought me a plate of all the appetizers I could have and walked me through the menu.
There was a young man who at the start of the wedding was serving at the mac n cheese bar, he was dancing and singing from the minute we entered the venue until we left. He even joined several of us on the dance floor for the “couples dance” that quickly became a dance for 3.
It was definitely one of my best times at a wedding and the staff played a huge part in it.

The Connecticut Wedding Group helped ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. From the first call, to receiving detailed tours of their venues, to the constant availability for texts and calls to answer questions throughout the process, they supported us from day one. Planning a wedding from across the country is no easy feat and having the connections that CWG provided with preferred vendors and local knowledge was essential. They took our simple decorations and made the space look better than we could have imagined. On the wedding day, Sean and Eddie were by our side before we even realized we had a question, and our drinks and plates were never empty. They facilitated the transition of events seamlessly, with multiple backup plans if the weather changed, and constant check-ins to make sure everything was as we wanted. Sean even stepped in to help bustle my dress when we couldn’t find a few of the buttons. At the end of the night everything was packed up before we were even done saying goodbye to guests, and our family was so grateful for the help. The best compliment from a guest was that “this was the best wedding food we’ve ever had, including our own wedding!” If you want you, your spouse and all your guests to truly enjoy your wedding without worrying about details, we cannot recommend Connecticut Wedding Group enough!

An Incredible Wedding Experience – Beyond What We Imagined
I can’t speak highly enough about our experience with the CT Wedding Group. From the very first meeting to the final song on our wedding night, they made the entire planning process feel effortless, organized, and even fun. They weren’t just professional — they were personable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we imagined.
The team went above and beyond in every way. Sean was incredible — he took all of my ideas (even the scattered ones!) and turned them into something truly beautiful and cohesive. He listened, offered creative suggestions, and always made us feel heard and supported.
One of the moments that really stood out was how they sequestered us away right after the ceremony so we could have a quiet moment together. We were greeted with our favorite drinks and actually got the chance to soak it all in — no rushing, no chaos. And unlike so many couples, we actually got to eat our dinner and enjoy it! The food was absolutely delicious, and we’re still getting compliments on how beautiful the entire evening was.

The only thing that exceeds CT Wedding Groups reputation is their execution. Our day was flawless. Our coordinator Mary is simply one of one. There is no one better. She was on top of everything we needed before we knew we needed it. It was no surprise to us how impeccably she did her job after working with her right hand, Eddie. They were an absolute dream team that left us wanting for nothing. Coming into our wedding day we had a very specific vision. CT Wedding Group took our vision and turned it from a reality to a living dream. There are 0 critiques, there are 0 regrets, they delivered in a way that still has our loved ones reaching out to rave about their experience. It all seemed too good to be true, but it was better. The food. The food. The food. The food. The food. The food. More than anything else we are getting non stop compliments about the food. Their culinary team was just out of this world. Our event chef Jeff delivered on a level that you can’t even find at some 5 star restaurants. This was not wedding food. This was bliss. On top of all of this was the service. Just the perfect finish. The servers and bartenders took care of our guests like their own family. This experience was unlike anything we could have imagined. CT Wedding Group is astounding. We simply cannot recommend them enough.

I am so grateful that I chose to get married with the CT Wedding Group. Not only did they provide an absolutely gorgeous venue and the best wedding food I've ever had, but their entire team was an invaluable resource for the year and a half it took to plan our best day ever! They were always available to answer questions, guide us on what to do next, give us tips on cost saving, brain storm ideas and more. They alleviated so, so much stress. They made our vision come to life! Our guests continuously compliment us on the experience. It was truly the best night of my life and I sincerely thank the entire team of the CT Wedding Group for that :)

We hired the CT Wedding Group for our wedding at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake in July. Throughout the planning process the entire staff was attentive and responsive to our questions and requests, and provided a handy to do list to ensure we stayed on track. As for the actually day of ceremony, the entire staff at the venue was friendly and made sure our day was special. One hiccup that we did have was trouble with the A/C unit during our reception, something they fixed as quickly as they could to ensure the rest of the night went smoothly. Our day of coordinators, Lindsay and Eddie, made our day as perfect as we could've hoped. They were detailed oriented and were able to deal with anything that popped up throughout the course of the day! Most importantly, they made sure we always had food and a drink in our hand, and handled anything that came up throughout the night.
One thing we wish that was a bit more clear was the pricing for certain things for the ceremony, specifically about what was included in the price per plate versus an additional add on. There were some surprises in the final invoice that led to some confusion. At the end of the day we would recommend the CT Wedding Group and The Pavilion on Crystal Lake for your big day!

Our wedding was this weekend and I am still in awe. I am a very nervous individual, but throughout my entire process, Wedding group really helped calm my nerves. From the minute, I got off the party bus to the venue. I felt a sudden ease. If I could recommend any upcoming bride considering using the CT Wedding group, I would highly recommend you ask specifically for Lexi to be your day of coordinator. I have never in my life met someone so attentive and so pleasant to be around. It’s almost like she can predict everything in your head before you even have to say it.
Need a drink? Lexi was already there with your drink before you asked for it.
Wanted some chicken pot pie appetizer? Lexi was there once again without having to say it. Everything throughout the day was perfect thanks to Lexi and Victoria. I cannot thank them enough for making the most magical day of my life absolutely perfect.

Read a post from a guy who's fiance passed away about a month prior to his wedding date. They callously suggested pivoting the wedding to a funeral or memorial instead. I guess that's what folks have to look forward too.
Update: they fixed the situation. Appears someone without authority to make a statement did such a thing and it came across very callous and wrong, but they rectified the situation. I'm updating this to reflect such.

Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life but unfortunately a groom to be whose nuptials were scheduled for 4/28/24 lost his fiancé yesterday.
Even more sad is the fact that the venue has allegedly refused to return his deposit. Yes I know a contract is a contract BUT have we as a society lost all empathy? Have we lost the ability to do the right thing even when we do not have to? Instead the venue offered a Memorial Service on the day that was supposed to be his wedding day.
IDK but I cannot think of anything more tragic and heartbreaking than sitting in your wedding venue that was supposed to be filled with joy but is now filled with sadness, grief, sorrow.
Connecticut Wedding Group allegedly hung up the phone with the groom and never even offered condolences.
To anyone reading this…remember kindness and empathy never go out of style.

Can’t recommend highly enough for any engaged couples out there- the property at the Barns speaks for itself, but Lexi + the whole team really went above and beyond to make our wedding day even better than we imagined. The whole team was amazing & our guests still talk about the food & drinks 2 months later!

Our experience with getting married at The Pavilion and with the CT Wedding Group was amazing from start to finish. The CT Wedding Group is absolutely fabulous and you truly want them being the ones organizing and planning your special day. From the beginning we knew we were in good hands, the wedding coordinators send out periodical emails with what should be next in the wedding planning journey. They have the couple schedule occasional video chats and in person meetings when it gets closer to the big day. Throughout the planning if you had a question, they encourage emails, as the bride I utilized this very much! I would send over inspiration pictures and details about decor for that ceremony and reception, with all this information they start adding it to your wedding profile. The amount of care and time they gave with emails and video calls was wonderful and felt great knowing you were in such good hands. On my wedding day I had zero worry that my vision wasn’t going to be executed.With in a week of the wedding you get assigned a “day of coordinator,” trust me when I say…Every single coordinator is wonderful and talented. Our wedding coordinator was Melinda and she was nothing shy of perfect!!! We appreciated her thoroughness on every detail for our wedding. She was supportive, helpful and cared about us during the biggest day of our lives. Melinda and the staff at The Pavilion were professional, kind and attentive! Our “favor” was a candy table that I prepared and brought the day of, rather than me being stressed about the assembling of my candy table, they displayed and set it up better than I could have even imagined. We are so grateful for everything they did for us. I was brought to tears seeing how amazing our reception looked, thank you for all you did!The food…DELICIOUS!! This will be the best wedding food you and your guest will ever have, I said what I said! Our families were raving and complimenting the food with the highest praise. The Pavilion has a talented chef & kitchen and I believe this is something that sets them apart from other venues. You will be floored by the delicious food and they venue makes sure to feed the guests well, no one leaves hungry. We opted for a cocktail hour “enhancement,” the Mac & Cheese bar and a “late night snack,” pizza!! The enhancements were well worth it for us, our guests LOVED the additional food during the cocktail hour and reception. Another enhancement well enjoyed by our guests was the “tasty bar snacks,” this was well enjoyed by our bar drinkers who grabbed some thick cut bacon and chips when getting a cocktail.Overall, The Pavilion on Crystal Lake and the coordinators in the CT Wedding Group made the wedding of our dreams come to life. I can’t say it enough, but the CT Wedding Group has so much care and love for the couples getting married. They show and represent organization from start to finish in the wedding planning journey. We are beyond grateful and lucky to have picked the CT Wedding Group to put together our wedding at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake.
