I recently moved from Branford to Deep River. I’m obtained a new membership at Flash in Middletown. The difference between my Branford/E. Haven car wash is absolutely incredible. The longer tunnel provides a far superior wash and drying. The auto dryer roller at the end eliminates the need to hand dry my Mercedes. My advise. Dash to Flash!

I tried to buy a rag From the vending machine and they got stuck in the vending machine and there was no one around to help money wasted !

This place sucks. The service you paying it's not working properly for months like the tire shine.Employee only spray driver side cars.It doest dry the car.They try to buy you with the soap fragrance when u go thru but it's all watery not thick.what a waits of money and I have the 45 month wash it's sucks

Edit 2/4/25: Went by this morning ~7:30 and the vacuums and air compressor hoses were again off. This occurred once last week as well (air compressor hoses off; vacuums were on that day). I did see the owner's reply to me however, I would hope that after my feedback and their response that this would have been addressed, rather than me having to call a site manager.
Original review: Generally, the wash itself is fine although sometimes the final spinning overhead drying cloths don’t work (very end of the car wash tunnel) because they stop after doing just the windshield.
The bigger headache is the air compressor nozzles (where the vacuums are) are mostly broken—the nozzles blew off for most of the stalls. Sometimes, they’re not even turned on in the morning.
Several mornings, I’ve tried to get a car wash only to find cones blocking the driveway. There was at least a week and a half where they were closed doing computer upgrades but that at least has helped the license plate recognition.
This location still feels “newer” but at the monthly subscription cost ($40 with tax), I’d expect these little issues fixed yet it has been at least several months.

Very low quality car wash that damaged my vehicle. I am currently trying to file a claim but the manager has ignored my calls. If you care about your vehicle and do not want the paint chipped or scratches on your vehicle do not come here!

Tried to cancel my monthly subscription atleast 5 different times at the middletown location. Everytime they say it's canceled and every month the money is still coming out of my account. Complete bulls$it. Had to go to my bank and have them cancel. If u want a bunch of headaches,go there. Purple Elephant down the road is wayyyyy better.

I have had the Pass for about 2yrs witch is the highest one they have and I do like it but what I don't understand is the fact they know that on pickup truck and SUV's it does get the back window or the back tailgate so I'm just wondering why any of the 2 to 3 attending persons doesn't have a soapy bucket with a brush that can get those 2 spots before we go into that the machines can't... just a simple question would like to know why

Bought a monthly pass and took it through for the first time and it left soap all over my windows that dried in place and the brushes missed a good portion of my winsheild but where it didn’t miss it wasn’t even strong enough to take bird poop off

They are the best. Very good car wash. Timothy is very attentive. And when items got blown out of the back of my truck. It was my own fault. But the next day I got back the strap and my plastic milk carton. Just a very good car wash and I highly recommend them.

I will never go back to this car wash ever again. I have one of my vehicles on a monthly payment which is fine. Occasionally I put my other vehicle through that's not on a monthly payment. When I do that I pay for a second car wash which is not cheap. I just went to put it through and it was expired by six or seven days and they wouldn't accept it. I don't accept it either. I will be canceling my monthly subscription today. There is no reason for that second car wash to expire just like gift cards don't expire. It's a big scam. The gentleman at the payment booth could have been nice and accepted it because it wasn't that old but he wasn't nice.

The staff are very friendly, i had a free 60 day membership with them from leasing my car, turns out the previous trial was not transferred from my plate for the new car, i expressed my xomcerns and they got to the root cause fairly quickly and helped resolve the problem to the best of their ability. Also, their equipment does a highly satisfying and efficient job at washing cars.
