This local LensCrafters refuses to make normal appointments for an eye check without the unnecessary retinal scan (add-on fee). Unfortunate that they have a local monopoly on a pretty basic service.

Had my eyes tested about 9 months ago here. Diagnosed with astigmatism, got prescription glasses for it. Beware of the hidden fees as they nickel and dime you and the price goes up sharply for your glasses.
My cision was clearer, but still had issues with double vision. When I called a couple of weeks later and expressed concern, I was told it would take getting used to for my astigmatism issues to get better. Well, it never got better. Still suffer from pretty bad double vision, just the license plate on the car ahead of me is twice as easy to read.

The ladies that work here are awesome. Very attentive and thoughtful. I picked up my new glasses yesterday. I am SO HAPPY to be able to see clearly. I will never go anywhere else to get glasses. Thank you!!

Worst eye dr appointment I’ve ever experienced I am 63 and been wear eyeglasses since I was 8.
The dr did not answer any questions I had she was out of the room in 14 mins
I think unprofessional is a way to summarize the experience
I will not be returning to the practice ever
Nor will I recommend

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to LC, a place I’ve always trusted for my appointments. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to complete my appointment due to the receptionist’s rude behavior.
I tried calling ahead to inform them that I would be about 10 minutes late, but no one answered. When I arrived, the receptionist wasn’t at the desk. She had blonde hair and long stiletto nails and was extremely short and unwelcoming. After being introduced by a coworker, she didn’t greet me or acknowledge me at all.
As I called my mother to discuss pricing and appointment details, the receptionist’s body language made it clear that she was annoyed. In the middle of my conversation, she interrupted and abruptly said, “It’s already 15 minutes into your appointment—are we going forward or not?” This was while I was actively relaying information to my mother.
I’m not sure if she was having a bad day (especially considering it was only noon), but regardless, professionalism and customer service should always be a priority. Even when I have a tough day, I still ensure my job is done correctly and respectfully.
Ultimately, I chose to leave because if I’m spending my money somewhere, I want to feel welcomed and respected. Unfortunately, that was not the case at the Middletown location.

Been to a few Lens Crafters in this state.This is the best one I have been to with a great selection in glasses .I bought two pairs and the turn around was so fast .
My second pair Raybans .what a discount I got .amazing savings .
The cherry on top...I Found a great eye doctor....

I had such a wonderful experience here at the Middletown location. Amanda was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. She was very pleasant to and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend asking for her when you go into the store. Her customer services skills are on point she listens to your needs and concerns and leads you to the right pair of glasses. Keep up the great work Amanda.
