First time I had a bad experience . My kia sedona pulled in , got out of my van , but no one came over even though there were no cars in the bay. A younger woman pulled in after me with and Acura and they took her car right away. She did not even care she cut in front of me . I know a lot of yuppies live in cromwell and I am just a 58 year old retired firefighter who drives from bristol to get and oil change but there is no excuse for that treatment.

I have been coming here for my oil changes for many years and normally have no issues. The staff is always friendly and the oil change is done quickly. Sadly, after my last oil change, I cannot return here.
I went in on a Saturday morning and everything seemed normal. As usual, I was in and out fairly quickly. Everything appeared fine until a few days later when my oil pressure warning light came on in my car and I started to have issues accelerating.
I was able to get to a mechanic who was available to look at my car. He immediately asked if I had an oil change recently, as the job done was so sloppy it caused the issue. The filter and seal had not been applied properly and my car was leaking oil. Not only was everything not secured properly, the screw used to put it in place wasn't even the right one for my car.
Luckily, I was able to get this remedied by simply getting another oil change, this time done correctly.
I am very fortunate that my engine didn't seize. If this wasn't caught when it was, my engine could have been destroyed. I am also lucky this happened close to home, as a few days prior I had been out to New York City. If this happened out there, I'm not sure what I would have done.
I had been going to Mobile 1 Lube Express for the last 15 years because of the convenient location and fast service. I did think it was more expensive than it should have been but was willing to pay extra because I felt using a major company like Mobil meant I was paying for quality. However, after this incident where I very easily could have had my car engine completely destroyed due to such careless attention to detail, I can never trust them with my car again.

Never tightened the filter. That's my garage floor the next day. Only let the car run for ten seconds before they checked the filter for leaks. I know that because I always stand outside in front of the car while the oil is being changed. A new filter installed dry doesn't even fill up in 10 seconds. God forbid you let it run for a few minutes before you check for leaks? I crawled under the car and the filter was only hand tight? Never again for this business. The sad thing is I was there at 8 and nobody was in front of me and nobody behind me when I left. Plus I told them that I was NOT in a rush to get anywhere??

I would be very careful bringing your vehicle here. Out of the 4 times I went, 2 or 3 of them my vehicle had problems. I saw oil was leaking in my driveway, turns out the oil drain plug was loose and just about ready to fall out. My skid plate on my truck was rattling because they did not replace two of the mounting bolts. On my 4Runner, two skid plate mounting bolts were loose and one is stripped to the point where it will snap off trying to remove it. I would not go there and am hesitant to bring it to any low budget oil change place anymore.

Owner is always nice. I'm in and out in 15 minutes tops he even fixed my hood latch for me! Great service at half of the price of leading oil change places

I've never had a problem over the years going here but... I went a month ago, kept finding oil spots in my driveway and finally knew it was from my car. I brought it back yesterday knowing it had to be either the plug or gasket for the filter. They took my car in and then when it was done, the gentleman told me I'm all set. I asked which was the problem and he said the tech couldn't find any problems or leaks. 🤔 Um.. ok.. is he blind? That did not settle with me, so I called the dealership and went there this morning where they found the oil leak from the WRONG drain plug being in there and over torqued. I tried calling this place - nobody answers the phone. Never again will I go here.

Relatively inexpensive and quick but they try to sell the air filter literally every time. I got it replaced the last oil change and they tried to sell me another one. I wouldn’t buy one from them again, period as it seems to be a scam. Also they definitely don’t check tires for anything - air/rotation/etc so not sure why they would advertise that they do
