For those into animal husbandry and poultry farming, I’m told this year’s Chick Day will occur in the first two weeks of February. “I went in twice to buy birds a week apart. Everyone was helpful and nice. We got our first bird and it got lonely so we went and got another one. Very pleasant experience both times. The reason I took one star away is because I think they tell you whatever they think you want to hear when it comes to the gender of the birds. After doing my research, I understand it can be difficult to gender parakeets. But they both times told me I was buying female birds. I believe now that I have a male and a female and I am seriously hoping I dont end up with baby birds!”
