It was a wonderful experience. I greatly appreciated the way they cared for my dog who was having a health issue. She had to stay overnight and I felt the communication was great.

Do NOT bring your pet here!
I've brought two different dogs here and both times they were dishonest, switched their stories, and verbally manipulative.
They are not here to help your animals. They want as much of your money as they can get. Its very evident.
In my last visit (on a Saturday) I asked for the meds (which they insisted I needed "If I cared about my dog") to get my dog through the weekend until I could seek the advice of my primary vet. They reduced the # of meds prescribed and left the price the same.
They told me one thing in the sitting room and a completely different story after at the desk and in the write up.
They promised I'd hear from a manager to speak to about my concerns and this is the 2nd time I've gone MONTHS with no follow up.
Definitely avoid Dr. King. Very dishonest and manipulative changing verbage before and after all while not listening at all to me or letting me get a word in.
Read the negative comments.
Save your pet.
Go somewhere where they're about helping your pet.

They are not doctors they are killers. I had the worst service and they killed my beautiful parrot. They ruined the family happiness. They hurt my parrot badly that didn't survive a day after. May god show you and your family the same pain that you caused me and my family. REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL PARROT ?

We came in for an emergency and are extremely grateful that Pieper staff took care of our puppy so quickly. He received tremendous care from the team from the front office, to the billing department to the doctor. Thank you, thank you for all that you do.

My dog has unusually high anxiety and is extremely difficult to care for. She thrashes and fights to get away when touched. She was seriously ill with acute hemorrhagic gastritis and needed fluids and medications. Each Dr. and staff member I spoke to was patient with her issues and her care decisions were balanced with her special circumstance for the best overall result. I was very impressed with the level of understanding we received in dealing with her. We received dedication to finding the root of her problem and healing her completely in a manner fitting with her anxiety levels and ability to administer treatment plans.

First of all, I never go online to write reviews of any places. But this hospital saved my dogs life and I am forever grateful. My Lucy was seen at another ER 5 days prior to us winding up at Pieper. They treated her for hip dysplasia and had her rest on meds. As the week went on, it was clear to me there was more going on as she just seemed so off. She would up slowly over the few days losing her ability to stand up and wound up with her lower half of her body being paralyzed to move. I tried to take her to our own Vet and the previous ER but when I called, thankfully they both told me "You need to go to Pieper, they have neurology and the MRI's etc". I had never even heard of this amazing hospital but we went in, they could see Lucy was very anxious so they allowed us to lay with her in their primary vet office waiting room away from the other pets. This gave her and us great comfort. She wound up being kept overnight, I received a call from neurology by 7 am the next day, they were on top of it, performed the MRI and by noon she was in emergency surgery for a ruptured disc. By 2 pm she was safe and out of surgery. She stayed for 4 days, and I felt the entire time she was in the best of care. I was a nervous wreck having her be away from me but knew she needed to be there and be watched by the knowledgeable staff that knew how to care for her. We are 3.5 weeks post surgery and she is healing great. I will forever be grateful to Dr Perkins and the neurology staff for saving my girl.

Our cat had 4 episodes of urinary blockage. Last episode was severe and it looked he was not going to live anymore. We took him to Pieper memorial hospital at midnight. Due to his critical condition, he was immediately taken in. After detailed examination, doctor told us about the surgery to save his life and we knew about it.
Surgery is expensive which is called perinatal urethrostomy where a male cat is made a female cat by surgery so cat will not have another life threatening blockage. Since cat was in critical condition, immediate surgery was performed next day. After surgery , entire plan was explained in detail. He was taken back to hospital for re check every two weeks until yesterday when finally he is all done. Cat is heathy and happy. I must say surgery and post surgery care at Pieper Veterinary hospital was matchless and the best possible care and attention was given to our cat every time cat was there. Everything was explained and there was no hidden or extra chargers. We are extremely satisfied with the staff, doctors and the hospital and must say thank you very much

Everyone was so compassionate and kind during a very difficult day. You can tell how much everyone truly cares for the animals. Smokey was in great hands for his last day. I'm forever grateful for the over an hour alone I was able to spend with Smokey in the room given. There was no rush felt. I can't thank everyone enough there. Thank you so much for the sincere kindness and care with how everyone treated Smokey.
Not only was this most recent visit exceptional. Previously have brought my other cat, Muffin, who was also treated with equal respect.
Thank you a million

This place is my own personal hell. Our vet in Bantam told us to come here and that they would call ahead for our sick dog to get some X-rays. We have been here for over 2 hours along with having over an hour drive to get here. Absolutely unacceptable for just some X-rays! For a while we sat on the floor because the lobby only has 2 places to sit. If I could I would give this place negative stars. I will be sending a bill for taking up so much of my time.
I will also update when our dog is finally looked at by a doctor.
TRASH.

Without the staff at Pieper I know my pup Groot would have died from his injuries sustained from a dog attack. Everyone has been so wonderful and absolutely amazing. I will never be able to express my gratitude for saving Groot.

I had to take my little bunny friend of nearly six years in to let her go peacefully. Everyone was so compassionate and kind. She went so peacefully, and the nurse who administered the injection was fantastic at giving us space and time before finally letting her go.
If I had any feedback, I'd say please please please either ask people if they want fur clippings or make sure to always take them because when I got her ashes back I was absolutely devastated by the absence. I know it's a little thing, and I should have asked, but my previous vets over the years have ensured that it was included.

Incredible care for our Lexi. So much so she actually loves Dr. Carreras and the staff.
< br />It's been a long journey throughout her Lymphoma care and we couldn't be happier to have her cared for by Pieper.
< br />Unfortunately Lymphoma Is terminal and now the Journey is slowly coming to an end.
< br />Thank you all so much for all you did to keep her happy this past 14 months.

They were fast, polite, and responsive. As a worried pet parent they knew just what to say and it gave me such peace of mind knowing I was leaving my baby in their care without me there with him. The compassion that workers had was anmazing and they anre very understooding that not everyone has high financial means and they work with you on that.

Came here at 3pm was told it would be an hour wait at most.. They didn’t see MY activity dying animal till 8pm until I started have a meltdown… Cause there were other animals with “greater needs”.. just for them to put her down at 8:32pm… I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to come here. Unprofessional, no empathy or emotions.. I’ve had to put down a few animals in the past and this place was the most traumatic EVER!!
