Alternate Universe LLC is easily the best comic book store, with both the Milford and New Haven locations being top notch. It is an awesome organized location with a great and excellent selection of comics, items, and merchandise, including multiple copies, variant covers, and more adult oriented books. The store has amazing comics that come in great condition, all neatly displayed with care given to organization. The owner and workers are friendly, helpful, super honest, informative, and awesome to talk with, providing the best customer service. They do reserves which is very convenient. The New Haven store is smaller but has everything, while Milford is bigger and a little more family friendly. It is a highly recommended shop for longtime collectors, connoisseurs, and anyone looking for what other places sell out of. You cannot go wrong either way.

Went in today looking for slabs. Hadn't been there in years, but getting back into collecting. Still one of the best comic shops around. Friendly helpful workers, and excellent selection.

Just popped in for a quick browse, and was impressed by the amount of titles, and the care given to organization. The dude behind the counter was friendly and unobtrusive, greeted me nicely and let me browse in peace. Will definitely do more than browse the next time I'm in there!
