I recently had alterations done that were tricky and I was so pleased when I picked up the item... not only did she do a fantastic job, she picked up a beautifully matched piece of fabric which I really wasn’t expecting and finished it off perfectly and I was nervous that it would cost a fortune but it didn’t, she was more than fair and reasonable... the lady/owner there is ALWAYS Iovely, helpful and professional and just gets it’s done... I feel she’s always looking to give you what you ask for... I’ve brought several things to her and I’m never disappointed... and the prices are very reasonable... great work, great prices... none of the cleaners/alterations in the area do as great of job and as reasonably priced as Artesian Cleaners... I’m always when when I leave there.Service: Alterations

Because I don't know how to sew, I came here to get a rip in my ski jacket repaired as I saw signs in their windows saying they do repairs and alterations. After speaking with the gentleman who I dropped the jacket off to about how I wanted the repair done he ensured me that's how the repair would be done but it would cost more due to the extra amount of work and time involved. I told him that cost wasn't an issue because I wanted to get the repair done correctly and for it to look as good as possible. When I came to pick up the jacket, I was asked to pay $35 and was presented with a repair that looked like a 5 year old with no skill could have done blind folded in no time and not cost more than $5. Instead of sewing the rip, which is why I came here in the first place, and then gluing a patch inside the jacket to seal the repair to prevent water from getting inside the jacket, which was how I discussed I wanted the repair done, they just simply glued a patch from inside the jacket and that's it. I complained and reluctantly paid due to me needing the jacket for an upcoming ski trip. To make matters worse, the repair hasn't even held up and the rip has begun to open up forcing me to go somewhere else and pay to get it repaired correctly! Needless to say, I will never come here for any type of alteration or repair service again, or anything else for that matter!

Needed a dress shirt cleaned in a hurry. Was pleased to have it done in roughly 2 hours. If you are in a pinch and need something cleaned fast, this is the place to go.
