I went into this location with my daughter to buy her something. The lady in the fitting room ( apparently she is the manager at this location by the name of Jennifer) was extremely rude and unprofessional as I was walking out of the fitting room she started to talk about me. I addressed her and told her how unprofessional that was. She told me to proceed with her to the front I thought she was directing me to the general manager to express how uncomfortable she made me feel. She instead told the staff to not let me purchase anything. She threaten to call the police I went ahead and called the police myself due to the experience I was encountering. Another manager arrived and was professional and apologized for my experience and what she did in front of other customers. I made my purchase but would never come back to this location due to my experience. If she is the general manager she is setting a terrible tone for her staff. No one wants to get treated in that manner nor need to deal with the unprofessionalism in front of their children. Based on recent reviews I am not the only individual that have experience terrible service. The Milford police and the mall security was polite. I feel terrible I had to involve them. I have never had to encounter an experience like this in no mall, store or h & m I’ve ever been too.

employees should be more helpful. Also at register it happened with 2 different cashiers different occasions. They don't even answer the good afternoon, either thank you.

If management is threatening to "meet someone outside" you know that there is no real background checks done. Will not be returning.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent visit to H&M at the Connecticut Post Mall on May 3rd, 2024. The staff members were incredibly impolite and demonstrated a disturbing lack of respect towards customers. Their demeanor towards women was especially unacceptable, with a shocking instance where a staff member suggested that a customer should be "kicked out" of the store. This type of behavior is intolerable, especially in a customer-facing environment where respect and professionalism should be paramount. I urge the management at H&M to take immediate action to address these serious issues and to ensure that all staff receive appropriate training in customer service etiquette. Such experiences should not be part of anyone’s shopping journey, and I hope future customers will be met with the respect they deserve.

Waited in a long line to be told that my return can’t be accepted by them, since they don’t sell the item anymore. Keep that in mind before driving there.

I asked for a bag when I wasn't buying anything, so the manager proceeded to drag me by my hair and slice me Achilles heels with a butter knife. I ended up getting the bag but was it worth it?

For the life of me, I’ll never understand why the staff needs to spray the fitting room so aggressively with deodorizer. 3 different times I’ve come to this H&M and Ive have to walk out of the fitting room because the spray smell is so strong. It’s truly ridiculous. The last time I came here it didn’t even smell bad and the girl was spraying non stop in each room. Completely unnecessary. Won’t be coming back.
