Owner is an outstanding man very helpful . He went our of his way to find me a specific model kit and hold it for me. 11/10 for this store . Avoid BRANFORD HOBBIES and go to HQ HOBBIES!!!!!

Don’t go by what’s the website. This store is stocked with Gundams and other model kits. The owner is super cool and make sure you pet the dog! For a hobby store to be local is another bonus! Will I be going back? Most Definitely!!

Huge amount of gunpla kits, especially some hard-to-find classic MGs. Also, store owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, you can tell he's an OG modeler.

Excellent hobby shop, especially if you're into armor and aircraft scale models. Good selection of cars, ships, and Gundum also. Large selection of Verlinden figures and diorama accessories. Well stocked supplies, tools, paints, and books. The owner is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you're into scale modeling and Gundam, this place is for you. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

A nice selection of WW2 models, airplanes, ships, gunpla, and modeling accessories. Some items were significantly more expensive than in other hobby shops in CT and from online retailers though. Definitely worth a look for their more rare hard to find model kits

Good selection of models mostly in 1/35. Couldn't spend must time there due to the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke in there. Must be something they don't go outside for.

Drove down from Hartford on a Wednesday.Hours on the door & on google are open until 6pm. Place was locked @ 5:30.

Called ahead, and when I got there place was closed up. Sign on door said 6 I'm here at 4:30pm on Tuesday. From the outside there does seem to be a great selection. Just wish I could buy something lol.

Another hobby store that we can check off of our list. Both of my boys (hubby & son) found the models (Gundam & Pokémon) that they were looking for and more! This shop is located in the end unit of a small strip mall. Don't drive too fast because you just might drive by it...like we did. Upon entering you are surrounded by models of all types. There is a great selection of paints, brushes and other model building tools. The prices and selection were some of the best that we've seen. The owner was polite and knowledgeable. We will be visiting again soon!
