It is helpful to check into this store on a monthly basis . The staff is knowledgeable and the merchandising is adequate. I believe they would do a lot more business if they were competitively priced and had a bigger quantity of new merchandise coming in weekly.Most of their better quality selections are available online and are frequently not in the Milford location. They carry some cute dresses in a variety of lengths and colors for the summer. They also offer regular sales online.

I question the honesty & integrity of the staff at Jjill in Milford, CT. Shopped there today and left my wallet on the cashier counter. 15 minutes later when I went back to pick it up, all the cash was missing. There were only 2 other customers (an older women and her mother) in the store at that time. When asked about the cash, the 3 employees had 3 different stories. 1 found wallet on counter, 1 found wallet on floor by counter, 1 found wallet by jewelry.

Many of my covid purchases came from J Jill, and I was more than satisfied. However, while visiting their Milford, CT store, the cashier informed me that because I'd shopped there before I needed to give them my phone number. A customer before me was also told this, and she said she was very uncomfortable giving it out. So am I, and I told the clerk I wasn't going to provide it as it's a real security risk. She informed me that I couldn't purchase the item without a phone number (and I was using a debit card). I walked out without it, but bought the item online. Here are some of the discoveries a reporter for the NYTimes found when giving out his number (to quote): ----------- In an hour, this is what came up: -My current home address, its square footage, the cost of the property and the taxes I pay on it. -My past addresses from the last decade. -The full names of my mother, father, sister and aunt. -My past phone numbers, including the landline for my parents' home. -Information about a property I previously owned, including its square footage and the mortgage taken out on it. -My lack of a criminal record Needless to say, I won't be shopping at a J Jill's store again.

Excellent. The staff at the Milford Store is wonderful. Very helpful. Way better than the Danbury Store. It was worth the extra ride to shop here.

Horrible, absolutely Horrible staff. The new manager Donna that's there now is so unprofessional, she made me feel so uncomfortable while in the store I honestly don't even want to share the details, I cried the moment I closed my car door. I am never shopping there ever again they lost a great customer I will shop online going forward since the other locations aren't convenient for me.

Stopped by store yesterday..gorgeous welldone window displays..inventory was really appealing and nice. Manager could not have been more helpful or accommodating.. clothes getting pricier than in the past but nicer also. ..their sales are very good however and plentiful.

I love JJill, and I try to go to different ones. This location has an excellent selection, but the associates were more interested in talking amongst themselves about their evening plans than in helping customers. There were 3 or 4 associates gossiping at the counter, and only one other customer besides me. They never acknowledged us, but just kept on talking. I doubt if I'll ever go to this location again, and I will tell my friends to go to other JJills where there is better service.

I have been buying from jjill since it was born. I am now overseas and can ONLY shop when I am in the USA because JJILL says its a global shipper but its really not. I recently bought something I absolutely had been dreaming about ( color truffle). I knew I would get hit for shipping but I decided this once it was ok . I pulled the trigger. shipped fast, all well. except then UPS called me and demanded another $60.00 or more to actually deliver it to me. WHAT?

Great clothing – terrible customer service and billing. J Jill‘s bank made an error on my account and transfer that error to me by charging me late fees. I refuse to pay then and I close the account after 15 years. The only way they'll waive the fees if I reopen my account . I don't do business with extortionists.

3rd time there where the sale price marked on the rack did not apply! sales people could care less ! Love the clothes hate THIS store!
