Can't say enough good things about this pharmacy. I am constantly urging my friends and family to switch to Genoa. The staff is AMAZING, and thank you Theresa for always brightening my mood with candy. This place is like a dream come true. No more waiting in ridiculous lines at CVS, waiting for hours on the phone just to talk to someone, or getting the wrong medications. Gone are the days of stressful prescription management. Genoa is a remarkable and truly one-of-a-kind pharmacy, which we really needed after the pandemic. This hidden gem also has multiple locations. They are EXTREMELY responsive, keep you up to date, and know who you are the second you call. I think I've only been put on hold once and it was for like 5 seconds. When you call, someone answers RIGHT AWAY. And they are always PLEASANT. They know exactly what to do and the right answers to give. Everything is cut and dry without the confusion and hassle of these mega-pharmacies who treat customers like numbers. Not at Genoa. They know all their customers. I even enjoy a quick chat with a pharmacist here and there when I call. And for the best part, SHIPPING. My meds are shipped once a month and they come all together in a package that fits in my mailbox. You can also have them delivered to you personally by one of the delivery drivers as long as you're willing to wait a day or two to receive your meds (sometimes they can deliver same-day, it all depends on their delivery driver). I'm too far away for delivery now but most people can find a Genoa close enough to deliver. The only problem with delivery is that you have to sign for it if you have any controlled substances being delivered. BUT I found an AMAZING work-around!! If you have a USPS account you can sign up for something called Informed Delivery, which keeps you updated on the mail you receive at your specified address. Essentially, you can preview every piece of mail that's being delivered to your address, even days before it arrives. Like they scan a photo of each mail piece so you can see the front of the envelope but that's all. You will also be able to view packages that are on their way to your address. When Genoa ships your meds, the package information and delivery date should appear, along with regular updates about its movements. You can sign up for text alerts for a specific package, otherwise you just have to keep an eye on it. If you don't automatically see a package under "Packages" on the informed delivery home page, you can call Genoa and get the tracking number.

Now, bear with me as I am almost done. When you sign up for informed delivery, there is an option to create and use an online signature. You will have to sign a document with the signature consenting to the use of it. You can change your signature at any time if you don't like the way it looks, but it honestly doesn't matter. All that matters is that your signature is now in the system. ONCE YOUR MEDS ARE SHIPPED PAY ATTENTION TO THE STATUS ON YOUR INFORMED DELIVERY PAGE. Once the package is at a later stage in its journey (i.e. arrives at local post office, or is out for delivery) you will see an option to apply your online signature, and with the click of a button, you've now signed for your meds without having to meet the mailman at all. While this sounds complicated, it's actually quite easy once you use it.

In conclusion, life is just better with Genoa. I will never regret my decision to stick with them nor will I ever switch because they represent the way all pharmacies should operate. I've never been treated better than I am at Genoa. I mean try and find another pharmacy that puts candy in your medication bags. Every month I open my package to candy. And the welcome letter you receive when starting at Genoa is absolutely adorable and extremely though”

“So I'm not from around here and I don't know how many people use this Walmart or if it's new, but it's a ghost town.. Anyways, my mom bought a duffle bag and we came here to return it. She went to the customer service desk and the lady was super efficient. She barely said a word, but she was fast and I was kind of shocked at how quickly we got in and out. The store itself was pretty empty, but there were plenty of employees around. I give it five stars because I didn't have any problems and even though it was kind of creepy no one was shopping, I got in and out efficiently.”

“This is a great Stop & Shop, one of the better locations in the area, and one of my favorite locations. The store is older but is very clean and well lit. It's well stocked and carries a huge selection of products. The floral department is excellent! They have a huge selection of pretty, beautiful flowers and plants. They also have tons of very nice seasonal decorations. The bakery is also excellent here! They have a huge selection of baked goods, I saw several items here that aren't carried at other locations. All of the baked goods look fresh and are well stocked. The cupcakes and cakes are well decorated and look delicious. I've bought Italian bread here twice and it was very fresh and delicious each time. The produce is very good here. The berries, cabbage, lettuce, watermelons, peppers, and all other fruits and vegetables look fresh and are well stocked. The deli is good and clean with friendly staff. The prepared chicken was all hot and fresh. The sandwiches look fresh and tasty and are well stocked with a wide variety. I bought a deli sandwich here and it was very fresh and delicious! This location has a salad bar, which looked excellent, with a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies to choose from. They also have a hot wing bar and the wings there all looked fresh, hot, and delicious. The seafood department is great at this location. The fish always looks fresh and is well stocked with a wide variety. The meats look fresh and are well stocked. The organic section is quite large and is very clean and well kept with a wide variety of organic options to choose from. There is a gas station here located just in front of the store, which is very convenient. The staff at this location are all friendly, attentive, helpful, and courteous. The lady in the seafood department is always super friendly and helpful, the deli staff are polite and helpful, and the assistant manager Dawn is wonderful! I was here once when she was helping with the self checkouts and she was super friendly, attentive, funny, and helpful. She really made sure all the customers at the self checkouts were taken care of. All the staff and managers here are really nice and it makes for a very pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, I've found a few expired items here, make sure you check the dates. Also, the freezers are older and could use some work, as they are often leaking at times. The floors are older and are a bit cracked in a few areas, but they're kept clean and neat. Overall, this is a great Stop & Shop, one of the better ones in the area. The store is clean, has a wide variety of fresh foods, and friendly staff. It's one of my favorite locations in the area due to the wonderful team they have here and the wide selection of various foods. I always enjoy shopping at this location. It's a great store and serves the area well. 4 stars for the East Town Rd Milford Stop & Shop.”
