Rude and unfriendly nurse. My sister has intellectual disability and I was explaining to her to be patient and kind as my sister gets anxious. After I finished talking, she asked me to repeat myself meaning she was careless and wasn’t even listening.
When she was going to take out the blood: I told her that on the arm they can’t find the veins and to try another part of the body. So she introduce the syringe on the arm and found out that it didn’t work so she try the hand. So unprofessional and careless.
Waiting time is long even though she has an appointment .
DO NOT GO TO THIS QUEST IN MILFORD

The most unprofessional group I've ever come across
Make an appointment to pick up what i need, there are 5 people sitting here and it sounds like a party going on and they have not one patient back there. I love Yale but unfortunately my insurance makes me come to this place

If I have the choice between literally anything else and Quest, I will always choose the other option. You can not speak to the staff, and nobody is there to answer questions. I came to drop off a sample and made an appointment just in case it was needed. I waited more than an hour after my appointment to be seen, and when I asked the staff if I could give them the sample, I was told no and had to wait even longer. I don't blame the staff as the company; I blame the people who decided a customer service window was too much effort. If I could avoid it, I would never go here again.

When you walk in there is no receptionist. They have a way of doing business but you don’t know what it is until you arrive and ask the correct questions. WARNING: they say they are handicapped acceptable. The bathrooms are teeny, my husband and I can barely fit in the bathroom. AND there are no helpful bars on the walls. I would never go to this facility except it is where my doctor asked me to go.

Like all customer service you are no longer allowed to speak to a person on the phone or in the office. The office is locked tight to assure you can’t speak to anyone.
You are reduced to entering information into a kiosk which also scan a your insurance card. The kiosk said you also have to scan drivers license so I had to end kiosk process and go get my mothers license. Then had to start the kiosk process all over again and of course her drivers license was not needed.
All of this inconvenience to simply drop off a sample.
I am not a happy camper!!!
Upon reading the reviews below it seems 3 years ago they apologized and seemed to care about the patients frustration.
United Healthcare should care about the unprofessional treatment they have talked about with this lab.
I’m really glad I did not go to a Medicare Advantage Insurance that forces you to use this very patient unfriendly laboratory.

Went for blood work in preparation for my surgery the next week and woman drawing blood was hacking away with NO mask on. Now I am also hacking and had to cancel my surgery. Stay away! Also reported this to Hartford healthcare who sent me to this facility. If you are in this business you need to have some concern for customers entering whom are either having surgery or have health issues. YOU NEED TO WEAR A MASK IF YOU ARE SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The women that work here are very rude! They don’t listen to the people , they misinform you regarding everything!
I had to get a stool sample from my son instructed it has to be fresh with in an hour or bring in frozen.. ok fine .. I was told to just bring it in no need to make appointment, ok great. So I brought the sample in frozen at 8am .. was told I had to make appointment , I explained what I had and what was told to me, the women was rude told me I need appointment I can wait or come back. I explained again that I don’t have time to wait or come back. By the way it was a 3hr wait, this is time sensitive and my son’s doctor needs it ASAP!
I don’t recommend going to the quest in Milford,ct
Go to another place!! These women are rude and unprofessional!!!

I arrived at 10:20 for my appointment at 10:30. I tried to check in and was told by the automated check in scanner that because I was checking in 10 min late I would have to reschedule…even though I was 10 min early for my appointment. Because it’s all automated now there’s no one to talk to about it. The next available appointment was at 11:10 so I opted to be checked in for that appointment. It was still very frustrating

Horrible experience with very unprofessional employees. Like many of the other reviews, the employees were rude and unprofessional. The phlebotomist helping today me was yelling to other employees in other rooms having conversations and being very pushy and harsh with me when asking questions. This lady was talking very loudly and did not make me feel comfortable. She was also watching/listening to a show on her phone during my whole appointment on full blast. This is very unprofessional behavior and when I should have walked out.
Another patient was knocking on the door from the waiting room because there is no receptionist at this location and my phlebotomist lost it and started tweaking and freaking out at this patient. This made me uncomfortable because she was right about to draw my blood and she was getting very worked up about another patient and was not attentive to me. It wasn’t even a big deal and another employee was helping them out but my phlebotomist continued to get worked up about this other patient and was talking under her breath the whole time as she’s drawing my blood.
Quest diagnostic please review your employees at this location and teach them patience, manners, and professionalism.

The staff is friendly, but we always had to double-check that they were performing the tests that our doctor had prescribed; they missed one test and attempted to retake another. It's either the employees require more training or the quest app has a issue.

I was instructed by my provider that once I had my specimen to keep one frozen and one cold and as soon as I can just swing by a Quest and drop it off as it was all set.
I was not well, weak, with on and off fever but as I am on my own, I had to bring it. So, I did just that and brought it to the Milford location at approximately 10AM. Upon entering I was greeted by an empty waiting room and a kiosk.
I filled out the appropriate information and the kiosk said to come back at 1:20PM. As I was feeling terrible, I knocked on the door hoping to ""drop it off" as I was directed.
The door eventually opened and I was greeted by a woman who yelled at me telling me to go to the kiosk and complete the information and wait..."You can't just knock on the door...Go over there and put in the information and wait". I explained my situation and she repeated that I should complete the info and wait. Once again, I repeated the info and she said she would send someone out to help me with the kiosk (Which I completed correctly). As I thought I was neither a walk in nor a scheduled appointment, I thought I was to just drop it off.
Finally a somewhat more peasant woman came out and saw what I did and asked me to wait. I waited and ultimately got assisted.
I have been a medical office manager and a very wise person once told me "If a patient is asking your assistance, they already have a problem and you have no idea what they have been through. It is important to treat them with kindness."
I don't think I was ever treated more like a punished child than I was on Tuesday 5/28. I hope that something can be done about the patient treatment I received.
