Just received a pair of jeans ordered from their sale site as I cannot afford full price items. Unfortunately there was some type of mix up with sizing & I got wrong size. I called & they will not return or exchange sale items. Only online company I have dealt with that has such a poor policy. Plus with their high shipping costs, they are probably make money on that too. Don't buy from them!

Their customer service is terrible and not handled within the U.S. I've been waiting more than 14 days for a return! Every time I call customer service they are not helpful in rectifying the additional costs with returning items. This store has beautiful clothing, but will never order again due to the customer service department being handled out of the country.

UPDATE: Called again on 9/7/22 as I still haven't received my refund. They just bumped by date to get it from 9/9 to 9/16. They received my sandals on 8/26! Now I know why they have a 1.9 rating. To top it off, when I was talking to the "service rep" I was getting a echo of my own voice on everything I said, which was not good. She said they were working on it..also, she asked who I talked to last time, when I told her she said they didn't have anyone that name../Ordered a pair of shorts and a pair of Birkenstocks. The shorts were of good quality but $100! Needed to return the sandals. The packing slip that came with the package said to put the return sticker enclosed on the box. No sticker int the box. Sent back via ups ($23). Called customer service and was told that I needed to go on their website and follow instructions to get the label. I asked why that information was not enclosed with the items. Was told that they get a lot of complaints about that. That was my last order.

They have nice clothes if your lucky enough to not to have to exchange or return. Customer service is none existent. Sent 2 items back to exchange for size. 4 weeks and they still have not received the returns so they can’t send out the correct size. When talking with customer service they say it must be at the warehouse. The warehouse has to update the system before they can send out the new order. She said it will take 21 days after the system is updated before the items will be shipped. Obviously an item I purchased in October will not arrive for Christmas.

Used to be a great place to shop. I still have a spectacularly well crafted wallet from TA that I bought in the 90s. When I look at Territory Ahead site now, the clothing is some sort of clown show with jacked-up colors/patterns and sissified contours. Way overpriced to boot. Come-on man!

I was surprised to get a catalog from the revived, new Territory Ahead. Before I ordered on the phone, I asked the clerk for the assurance that if the mail-order shirts do not fit I can return them and not be held responsible for return shipping. She promised me! Two shirts were ordered. Only one arrived. I called to inquire about the other one. They said "It is on backorder. Wait for 2 weeks." At the date of order, they never said it was on backorder. After all, I ordered on the same day as the catalog arrived at the house. The shirt that I received was at least 2 sizes larger than M. I wear either M or L depending on the maker. This one fit like XL. I called for a return. They said send it back, but never gave me a return label, even though I reminded them that I was unwilling to pay return postage because it simply was not something I should be penalized for, that their sizing is so far off. I returned the package and waited, and waited. Finally, I called back to see where my refund was. They put me on hold for a long time and said, well yes, they received it, but since I did not use a return label they did not credit me. I complained that I had not received a return label. The second shirt never arrived after 2 weeks, past the date when it was supposed to be back in stock. I called again. Ooops, they said. They all sold out and I was out of luck. I canceled the order. To get the shipping costs back for the first, too large shirt I had no make 4 calls. Never, ever, will I order from them again.

Not sure what market Territory Ahead is targeting, but I use to be a faithful customer. Not any more. Their prices are outrageous now. And the quality isn’t there anymore. So, no more Territory Ahead for me. Very disappointing for what you get for your money.....I don’t see them making it.

Great disappointment. Ordered on-line, specifically chose a shirt because it was NOT listed as back ordered (another one I was choosing between was listed as such) and then paid for priority shipping AS IT MATTERED TO ME WHEN IT WOULD ARRIVE. According to my confirmation email, I would be recieving my package in 2-5 days. After 4 days without a shipping email, I waited on hold for 20 minutes with customer care for them to tell me it IS back ordered and won't even be shipped for 2 more weeks. WHY did I pay for priority shipping again? Ruined a great bday gift. Thanks a lot for a load of nothing.

Great catalog invites you to do business with them, but proceed with caution. They held my purchase amount twice before shipping, offered snippy customer service, and the product was just okay.

have never done business with this company but received an unwanted catalog. I called today to requested to be removed from the mailing list. After being transferred 3 times, I eventually was connected to a voice mail system that requested my customer number. This is too painful.....

Very poor customer service, inconsistent sizes, took over 2 weeks to get credit for a defective return. I Have been a customer for several years, and during this time I put up with inconsistent sizes that had to be returned, pockets on T shirts that developed holes where pocket was attached to the shirt after two to three washings, colors that did not match what was shown in their catalog, poor or incomplete descriptions of products purchased, etc, etc. The last few times I called customer service I could not understand what the CS rep was attempting to say, and I concluded that customer service had been outsourced to a foreign location. The final straw was an order for T shirts and a button up shirt. The T shirts were 3 to 4 inches larger in the chest and waist than the same T shirts hanging in my closet. The button up shirt was around 3 inches larger. I returned these products and my credit was not issued until around two weeks later. I was denied a cash refund so I ordered 3 pairs of shorts. Within this order 1 pair of shorts was larger in the waist and one pair of shorts had different fabric.

Use of reviews is FRAUD. THey will NOT post my negative reviews. Been a customer for decades. Some clothing is great, most is not. Overpriced, and they make money on exorbitant shipping, AND REFUSE TO PUBLISH SOME NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Not a REAL review system. Beware!!

Territory Ahead used to be a company that was associated with unique and quality clothing. Their product line has become stale and the quality is junk. The associates at the call center provide genuine sounding apologies and acknowledge the persistently defective product line but can't provide anything more than that. I've accepted the fact that I need to find another clothing outlet. Too bad they had to change.
