As you can see from the reviews, customer service is not something they do here.
The dollar store is in the same strip, so just leave if they are trying to extort you.
If you know the return has to be visible and can’t be closed before shipping either bring tape or better yet go somewhere else!!
Lot’s of companies ask the returns be verified at the shipping location so the box must be unsealed.
Everyone isn’t trying to steal your tape, seriously!
A piece of tape is not the same as the store packaging your mail.

They try to charge to close a package for return even duh you have a QR code with the return instructions saying you do not need anything but the product to return and your QR CODE SCAMERS

Awful store - instead of receiving assistance, I felt treated like a nuisance. I was shocked and disappointed when I learned they closed down the location in Orange. There's no way I will use this store, I guess will have to drive to the Shelton location for my needs or stop using UPS altogether.

This place is a racket. I had a package to return to Amazon, which I packed in a box. The attendant told me that per policy, I had to seal the top of the box. She offered me two options: to pay $6 to have her tape the box or to pay $4.50 to buy packing tape. I asked her to offer the courtesy of placing a strip of tape over the top of the box. She had tape ready right on the counter. She refused and asked her manager to reaffirm the store policy. In the end, I bought a roll of tape and taped the top myself, but this is a total racket.

A good place to get your documents notarized. But charging 5$ per notarized page and 3.5$ per page for a printout seems outrageous.

These people are incredibly rude in addition to being incredibly unhelpful. I needed two pieces of packing tape and instead of using it from the tape dispenser literally sitting on the counter next to me they made me buy my own to use. Don’t ever use them every time I have come here there is a problem and they are always rude

This place is disgusting. The people who work there throw up roadblocks at every turn. 3 times this store has said they can't do something...and so I drive to the UPS in Orange and miraculously CAN do it. Awful customer service, and could care less about helping the customers.go give Orange your business, they have been nothing but fantastic

My fault. Customer pack. Un like going to Whole Foods. So easy.
So the UPD store was going to charge 10 dollars for a box Ok. I came back with box with a lid
But to charge 2 dollars for a 4 inch piece of tape to close the box. Nuts. “Oh u can buy tape for 5 dollars
It is not the two dollar it is just dumb
Will never return
Tripping over pennies to get to dollars
Also. NOT NICE

I don’t know if the owner’s family is working here but most of the employees are not nice at all. Pathetically, they won’t help you with one strip of tape, which is ridiculous. I dread having to drop things off at this location.

Charged me $10 to receive a package that was supposed to be signed for. When I called the company that shipped it while still in the store; they said there should be no charge at all. Manager wouldn’t release the item until I paid and he didn’t even have me sign for anything! I’ve had 2 other items (same as the most recent) shipped there in the past several months which I was able to pick up at no charge and was asked to provide my signature. Total scam. Manager just kept saying “it’s the system”. And the manager from the shipping department of the company sending me the item felt terrible and was apologetic because there was nothing she could do on her end.
