Van Wilgen's Garden Mart is a friendly and knowledgeable nursery with a strong emphasis on helping customers succeed. The staff is consistently friendly, energetic, super helpful, and a pleasure to talk to for advice. It is a source for many varieties of high-quality, locally grown plants, including herbs, vegetables, annuals, perennials, and shrubs, many of which are their own. The selection is very good with interesting plants, the plant material is healthy and of the highest quality, and pricing is fair. The Milford location is a cute little plant paradise, providing confidence to visitors from spring through fall.

My recent experience at Van Wilgen's in Milford was quite positive. I really appreciated Natalie ("the woman with the tattoos") taking the time to help me decide which flowers to buy and then offer her opinion on how to arrange them in my garden. I hope Van Wilgen's pays her what she's worth.
