Another frustrating visit to the Walgreens at 541 Bridgeport Ave. We had appointments for our vax yet again inexcusable delays. It was near an hour wait. Others waiting after us said they always have to wait here. No one ahead of us- just lack of organization behind the counter. Good people. Not questioning the on site pharmacological knowledge BUT operationally they can't run a business unit and manage work flow. When a staff member noted the backlog the response was "Tell them they have to wait" No apologies for the delay. It's business as usual. Combine this with shorter than typical pharmacy' daily hours and closed Sat & Sun. One has to ask how much longer they'll be in business. Very sad.

Deal with another pharmacy. My same-day RX delivery wasn't shipped out until I called, 2 days after the order, and now because it's a Friday I wouldn't get the medication delivered until Monday. They canceled the order saying I can refill it some place else, but I'd have to fork over another $100 until the refund arrives. This is unreal and very dangerous to be playing with people's meditation like this. Process the damn delivery request and get the medication shipped out, the same day, if you're going to charge me an extra fee; otherwise what exactly am I paying same-day fees for? I'm beyond pissed.

Fun fact: If you need some OTC meds you probably won’t be able to get them because they’ll have a paper sign on the door that says “We are closed but will reopen later”

As an ex-pharmacy tech for over 18 years, I have to say this pharmacy is by far the absolute worst. The technicians are rude and improperly trained. The hours for the pharmacy are ridiculous. Mon-Fri they close at 6pm and they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. How does that even work? This place needs to be shut down.

I was alerted my prescription was ready I went in to get my prescription the pharmacy staff was insanely unhelpful (and did in-fact not have my prescription ready) , made me come back to the pharmacy 4 times and continued to forget to put my prescription in. The manager was rude and unhelpful. They have no clue what they are doing here.

Pharmacy closed randomly today because the Pharmacist had an emergency. Yes that's unexpected but Walgreen's doesn't have back ups? I had hip replacement surgery 5 days ago and was left without meds. I can't have them forwarded to a different Pharmacy because they're narcotics. This is ridiculous! You couldn't have staff there to handle these kinds of issues? Just shut it down and give everyone a big F U?! It already takes days to get normal daily prescriptions handled. Forget about anything emergency, you'll just be left to die with nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders. Walgreen's makes enough of a profit to hire more staff and to treat them well enough to stay. You are dealing with peoples lives!

Unreal. My dr called in one prescription on Wednesday. They wouldn’t fill it because they were closing in half hour. The next day they were randomly closed and the day after they had my meds scheduled for pick up at 7pm. Uh the pharmacy closes at 6 and then they are closed all weekend. Thank god it wasn’t a maintenance med or something I would have gotten sick from not taking. If that was the case, Walgreens should be held accountable. The front store are so sweet and always very helpful and patient. Please be careful when filling at this pharmacy

My doctor had called in prescriptions, one of which a tech confirmed had been received. At around 5:30pm the pharmacist starts shouting to her techs something about (referring to me) what is this lady doing tell her to send them to another location they’re closing. I was a store manager with a tech license at a pharmacy for years. So rude. This will be the last time I fill here

Three license pharmacist and sitting here for over 45 minutes to get a vaccination shot and the woman says this is the third job they have important prescriptions to make, they should not be doing Covid shots if they can’t handle the situation

Should be negative 5 stars... pharmacy is almost never open and when it is the help is next to useless. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. In the past 5 months the pharmacy is somehow closed whenever i showed up and nobody could tell me when i could get my prescriptions... i suggest stop and shop, Walmart, cvs or ordering your meds from china before using this store.

AVOID THIS PHARMACY. The store is fine - folks at the counters are helpful, but if you rely on daily medication to keep you alive, or need antibiotics, DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. They are regularly unable to fulfill doctor’s orders and will direct you to go to another pharmacy. Save yourself the trouble and just go to a competitor, where there’s better staffing and you’ll leave with medicine in hand.

Absolute nightmare getting prescriptions refilled. Informed it’s ready. Go there weekdays - pharmacy closed due to staffing issues. Pharmacy closed on weekends- staffing issues. Pharmacy closed for evening hours- staffing issues. Moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. With systematic problems like this maybe they should just go out of business.

I went there shopping after doing uber eats like 10ish pm and was there for a while trying to figure out what I need. Also my coworker needed something so I was on phone talking to make sure if that's what he wants . While I was shopping , I felt manager guy was watching me by the chips literally he was standing by the chips and also by register when I was checking out . I felt like he made me feel like I was stealing.I can sense and see things without u noticing u guys watching meI work 3 jobs from 830am-12am. I'm working, cooking cleaning and taking card of my 85 yr old dad. So I got alot on my plate. I dnt like that feeling they watching u every aisle.
