“I ordered a Deveci pear scion this winter. The one I got was good: alive, no defects of any kind. For their scionwood they are more expensive than most places. But you can’t really take that into account when they carry varieties no one else sells. (Not just pear, but other fruits too.). If you want rare, temperate climate fruit plants and cuttings, this is a good place to look.”
“The best nursery in town, a huge selection of exotic plants, garden flowers, and all accessories you need. the shop upstairs is beautiful and classy, it's the perfect place to go gift shopping!”
“Best place in the area to purchase your Blue Seal livestock feed! Been going here for over 35 years! Great selection of feeds, friendly & knowledgeable staff + they have a good selection of animal health needs on hand when you have sick or injured livestock!”
“I love Litchfield Hills Nursery. They have a wonderful selection of vegetable plants, flowers and herbs that I wasn't able to find any other place such as feverfew, patchouli, and rue.”
“Ordered a Valentine's bouquet and it was incredible. Better than what I thought I ordered. So beautiful and so thought out. I opted for the additional chocolate option, not knowing anything about what that would entail, but it was not only from a local business, Fascia's chocolates, in Waterbury but my girlfriend says was the most delicious chocolates she's ever had. The in house delivery person who delivered my flowers was not only punctual, but also so incredibly kind and lovely. Can't recommend enough! If you need something for a special occasion, they are the best. I trust them wholeheartedly to come through to make any occasion extra special. Thank you Mascarillo's!”
“Wonderful greenhouse full of well loved and cared for plants. As well as tables full of beautiful plants, more than you could ever imagine. Beautiful place to stop for, so happy with our plants and the service. Highly recommend!”
“Love Van Engelen Inc. for my sprint bulbs! Ordered an all-white assortment of Narcissi, and it really gave a spectacular display. And the customer service folks are VERY knowledgeable - I ended up with some Daffs that looked like they'd be pink, but they assured me (correctly) that they would turn completely white over time.
Ordered an assortment of other bulbs that I planted this past fall, and can't wait to see what they look like.
Highly recommend”
“Super friendly staff and a fantastic selection of products made my visit a breeze! I found everything I needed for my home improvement project, and the advice I received was really helpful. I'll definitely be coming back for my future DIY needs!”
“I'd like to thank the New Hartford store for offering curbside pickup during this time for my pick up in-store purchase online. Wanting to limit our exposure into public places with the virus and glad they are offering this service. I only wish, judging by the full parking lot ,that more patrons were not taking advantage of it as well.”

“My husband and I finally got the opportunity to visit White Flower Farm this past Sunday. It was beyond wonderful to walk their extensive display gardens. The mature beaches and evergreens created such a majestic backdrop for all the other plant life. The dahlias were in full bloom and were all labeled which was so helpful.
A remarkable visit to fill your soul and take in mother nature’s beauty.
We also had a lovely chat with the staff as the heavens opened up and gave the gardens, and us, a good drench!”
