My organization is very fortunate to be able to have our events at this venue & it is just so beautiful. It doesn’t matter the weather, the season, they always do an amazing job making it gorgeous. So intimate & rustic! I want to have a large event just so I can have it at this venue. I wish that there was more parking & it was a little more leveled (not paved). The furniture is all mix matched, which makes the space look so unique. If you are wearing clothing that is thin or delicate, be careful choosing a chair, some of them do not have smooth wood & will pull at your clothes, I learned the hard way, my only complaint.

We were married in October of 2023 and I still can't get over the beauty of this place! The rustic vibe and uniqueness makes for an unforgettable experience. Sam was a fantastic coordinator! She was very communicative, answered all questions in a timely manner, and took care of us on the day of! The large grassy area gave many options for photos and left room for ceremony changes outdoors (if puddles occurred due to rain) and it was nice knowing they have an indoor ceremony place just in case! We look forward to visiting the venue when they have socials again so we can reminisce the incredible day we had!

As a popular wedding officiant, I am thrilled to be booked at this beautiful farm and rustic venue. It is upscale and gorgeous. I love their indoor and outdoor options and the staff is wonderful!

We had my daughter's wedding there on November 4, 2023 and it was fantastic. Ben and his team had the place in great shape. Our wedding coordinator loves the place and South Farms accomodated her and team with decorations, catering, etc. Great venue and all of our guests were pleased with the seating, rest rooms, space to move around, etc. We used both bars and fire pits. Well done South Farms!

South Farms provides the ultimate rustic, barn wedding experience. The owner and staff are very accommodating and allowed us access to the entire property with the bride & groom, which allowed my assistant and I to take photos with the cows, a country road, and pastoral views. It is a stunning property! The bridal room and reception area have a very rustic charm, while the cocktail area is a little more modern, the perfect combination. As a wedding photographer I highly recommend this venue for your Litchfield County wedding. Great Food!!

Lighting is very tough for photographers. Dark yellow wood, high ceilings, beautiful place, three stars for photography. Four stars for venue. The rustic wood style is a very beautiful look. Just needs better lighting. Plenty of room and it was ran very smoothly

Great Wedding Venue!Onsite eclectic Barn, fun indoor outdoor cocktail area!Interesting main room with a great long table that was used for the friends of the Bride and Groom.
