This hotel is so grungy and in desperate need of a renovation that it’s not even worth the “value” price of a night’s stay. Everything was extremely worn and tired. There were holes and stains on the walls, and the wallpaper was bubbling in places. Every lampshade was worn through. The tub was cracked and didn’t drain properly. “Queen” beds are actually full beds that don’t accommodate two people comfortably. Chairs in the room look like they had been clawed by a dog or cat. It’s clear the owners don’t care at all about the condition of the property.

Firstly, thank you to the wonderful staff from the front desk especially Stephan, Angie and Lewis, to Mary and the housekeeping staff. I had a very extended stay recently with my room on the second floor. The hotel is undergoing renovations with the first floor completed, the second floor about to begin, yet my room was spacious, bed very comfortable, mini fridge and microwave. The bath and shower were fine. My biggest complaint was that the hotel is Pet Friendly and I witnessed time and time again guests selfishly abusing the rules allowing them the convenience of bringing their dog(s) with them. I think the hotel should only allow credited Service Animals so those of us without pets can relax and not hear consistent barking from neglected pets while their owners go to the nearby casinos, etc. This is a older property and the owner and general manager need to step up and get things fixed immediately when there is a problem, from the outdoor pool needing the proper chemicals after the numerous rainstorms this summer, to the lobby/front desk air conditioning break down where the front desk staff had to deal with the unbearable heat and humidity , but lucky for the guests, we had air conditioning. The location is great, close to all the tourist attractions from Mystic Village, the Seaport and the casino, yet set back off the main road so it’s peaceful at night. There is a complimentary continual breakfast and great coffee. If you’re visiting the Mystic area, it’s a great place to stay! And you won’t find a better hotel staff to make your stay enjoyable! I would definately stay there again! Thanks again you guys!

I'd you are looking for a stress free stay at Mystic, CT do not stay at the Quality inn! They are anything but a hotel that has "quality." My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. On the first night we found two mice. One in the bathroom and one near the bed. That was absolutely disgusting. That speaks for itself on the cleanliness of this establishment. We complained to the lady at the Front desk. She was really nice and understanding and upgraded our room. So then we figured we would let this issue go....HOWEVER, We then come to find out that BOTH the Quality inn and Booking.com charged my boyfriend. He had originally booked this hotel through Booking.com and found out when we got back home that the Quality inn Charged him as well. So not only did we find mice but he was being charged TWICE for a shitty hotel that is rodent infested. He's been going back and forth with the Quality inn staff and Booking.com to get a refund for the second charge and both staff are being dismissive and reluctant to give the refund. Save yourself the headache and avoid coming to this hotel!! It was a truly disgusting experience!!!

The good: the place was clean, king bed was comfy, free breakfast was great. The staff was friendly & very nice. Room rate was the best in the area. The bad: the fridge didn't work. The bathroom door didn't close. There is zero soundproofing & we could hear the people in the rooms above us talking, walking & it sounded like people were running in the halls. It was a holiday weekend & lots of families were there.

First time here. Outside of the hotel could use some TLC. Inside was fine. Our room was great. Looked recently upgraded. Microwave, refrigerator, hot water. No bad smell. The bath was clean. The room was clean. I would stay here again.

Very affordable prices, recently recently renovated and comfortable rooms. Very courteous and professional staff. Nice, quaint and simple complimentary breakfast. Close to 95 and all Mystic has to offer. Everything you could want for a budget hotel! A+

Staff was great and very polite area was nice as well. The only thing I can say that I disliked was my room the phone did not work needed to be replaced and there was mold on the light shades as well as in the bathroom on the wall. Other than that the room was okay.

Was spending the night in mystic as we often do. Will NEVER stay here again. Woke up to ants in the bed!!!! And husband noticed what looked like a blood stain on the sheets? Manager refused to do anything to compensate. I stay at choice hotels ALL THE TIME. Never a bad experience until this one.

This place was worth the money! We almost stayed at a place that was double the price but I'm really happy we stayed here! The location was minutes away from the main attractions. It was refreshing to see the floors were not carpet like a lot of hotels have. All and all it was a nice place to stay while visiting Mystic. We felt safe and secure. Breakfast was good and included. We needed our batteries in the smoke detector changed and the gentleman handled it promptly. I would say the pool is a little scary. I'm not sure if it's too much chlorine but we were definitely a little freaked out by the green color lol. All and all it was fine. I would stay here again.

This hotel is not worth the money. Not only does it look run down but it smells dirty as soon as you walk in the foyer. Wish I was able to switch to a different hotel but I couldn’t. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, toilet seat was unstable, couldn’t control temperature of the room. The wallpaper is separating from the seams at 4 different areas in the room. The word the best describes this place is a DUMP. The smell in the lobby I won’t even take a chance of trying the breakfast. I’ve stayed at many other Quality Inn hotels and never had such a poor experience. For the price I paid I expected much better! Stay someplace else!!!

You're paying for the location. This hotel has all of the necessities, comfy bed, lots of towels, standard breakfast fare (with waffles!) but the walls are super thin. We were on the first floor and could hear everything our upstairs neighbor was doing. It sounded like elephants dancing. This hotel is going thru renovations so there's a certain new carpet/glue smell to this place. The hallway wasn't kept the cleanest but again, renovations are ongoing. My biggest concern was the undercooked sausage that was served for breakfast. It's that pre-cooked stuff but it looks either boiled or just put in the warming pan for breakfast. Either way, careful eating undercooked meat. I stayed away from it but people or kids might not be aware.

This location doesn't deserve a a rating! My wife and I were coming back from Cape Cod stayed at a hotel up there for $140.00 room cleaned everyday on the water nicest folks. Got to Mystic Quality Inn put our luggage into room had a reservation at 6:30 got an Uber to restaurant had a great meal. Woke up next morning to a room that was like a stall at a horse farm. I arrived and some foreign guy obviously the manager at the time out front smoking a cigarette in a chair told me I couldn't go in. "Welcome to the Quality Inn" really? The room walls holes in them toilet ran if I didn't adjust the handle. TV had no guide to refer to me to channels. Quit frankly I've seen thoroughbred stalls at the track that were cleaner, cigarettes burns on rug not on but many horrible property. Highly recommend to go to Hilton Marriott or Hyatt. Quality Inn is not Quality by any means stay away. I spoke to young man behind desk I'm sure it fell on Deaf ears fa sure!! Doesn't deserve one star but it I did rate I couldn't post, disappointed disgusted that a National brand could subject good people to this pig sty!!!!!!

The franchise owner, Mukesh, is really terrible. I had an issue with my reservation and was repeatedly promised he would call to addressed the issue, and he refused. When I called back they kept promising he'd call, and he did not.I finally got a hold of him, and he promised he'd address my issue and never did. I cancelled and stayed elsewhere. What terrible person to do business with. I will never stay at any of his hotels under any circumstances.
