The Steamboat Inn is a wonderful and clean boutique hotel in a perfect, central location in Mystic. It is tucked away, feeling quiet, hidden, and calm, yet everything in the lovely New England town is within very short walking distance. Guests can walk to the main strip with all the food, shops, and bars, as well as the Mystic River Park and the draw bridge. The rooms are fantastic, spacious, and clean, with a charming steamboat theme. Some are dockside, offering fabulous views of the Mystic River. They are well-equipped with extras, and bathrooms are spacious, some featuring a whirlpool tub. The service is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly, kind, helpful, and pleasant, making everyone feel special. A generous and tasty breakfast is included, served with thoughtful and caring service in an upstairs dining room. The overall experience is great, leading many guests to state they will definitely return for future visits.
We stay at Steamboat every year and have never been disappointed. The location is perfect for wandering around town. The rooms are always clean and spacious. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next year.
