My Elderly mother get her scripts there, she has several medications . There was a problem with filling a 90 day supply, I spoke with Tina Shea (spelling) she hung up on me and never called back, I called my mothers insurance and they told me her meds are a more expensive med so she needs the primary care to request a prior authorization, I spoke with primary care and she did that and gave me case numbers, then I got a automated phone call that told me both prior authorizations were approved. I called the pharmacy back, Tina was rude she said they have to do prior authorization, I tried to explain that insurance told me, primary care has to do it not pharmacy, she insisted that it can’t be done and that I didn’t get prior authorization, and maybe next time she gets her meds they will see if it goes through then, my mom is only on Social Security and her co pays are $15 each , but for 10 meds that’s $ 150 a month so with 3 month supply it’s not as bad, but she is rude
If she doesn’t like her job she should leave,

I'm am a new customer to Beacon pharmacy, Todd and staff are amazing very polite, accommodating, and answered all my questions.I was amazed when I switched to them, I received a welcome card from Todd personally and I haven't had this from other pharmacies. This is like you are family and not a number, they truly get to know you as a person.

Recently moved and was looking for a new pharmacy. I called just to find out how to go about doing it and if they stock my medication, pricing Etc. The person I spoke to was short and rude! Her tone was annoyed like I was inconveniencing her. So much for going with a local business versus a big box :(

I have used this pharmacy on several occasions. One thing I like, is that they are different than the big chain pharmacies. They do not sell all the other garbage. They sell prescriptions, medically related items, and a handful of snack items. There is a drive through (years ago this building was a Burger King) that may come in handy as to avoid contact with other patrons, especially if you're practicing social distancing. It is also good to use if you are finding walking to be difficult. Another option, which I have not personally tried is delivery. You would have to check with them to find out how far they go to determine if you are in their delivery zone. I have found them to be friendly, well staffed, and professional. They have assisted me in dealing with the insurance company, which I appreciated greatly.I was actually just there and I was in and out quickly thanks to the nice woman that helped me get my prescription!

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Amazing pharmacy that had my out-of-stock (in over 20 pharmacies) medication. Found out the owner is local and lives on the same street as my parents and went to school with my stepbrother! I showed up 5 minutes before they closed on a holiday weekend and they were amazing. I will be transferring all my prescriptions here. Also my very expensive medication was 20% cheaper than CVS. Spread the word! Local pharmacies are the way to go, down with the big name brands that couldn't care less about you. I can't say enough good things. Spend your $ here, they actually care about their customers

Initially, I was happy to go to this pharmacy. After experiencing the horrors of Walgreens switching my medication, I thought transferring to a smaller pharmacy with delivery options would be wonderful. It was for a while. I have a special needs child, no help from the people I know, and since July 2020, no steady transportation or means to get it. I have mobility problems and have to walk to most places, which is extremely difficult.I have conditions that require medication for me to function. It might be small to some people, but it is a lot to me. The past few months (I want to say 3-4 months now), this has changed. First, my provider sent my prescription information and Beacon claimed that they were waiting on them to give permission for a refill. It was a battle to get my medication and my provider had to explain to the pharmacy what to do. This meant days without my medication. There were other small incidents. I tried chalking it up to COVID and its aftermath. Everybody has been snappish and tired. I worked in customer service until last year - I should know. I was burnt out by the end of it myself! The biggest problem has been the delivery. With the exception of one time (maybe twice, no more), nobody called me to the door and I signed nothing. Medication was wedged between my front doors. I'd get notes crammed there too, saying a driver came and nobody answered the door. In return, these drivers would tell the pharmacy that I was not home. This meant arguing with the pharmacy (yes, arguing) because they claimed that I was not home. Todd the manager was told this, last month, I believe.I work at home, in my basement office. I am an author and owner of a nonprofit. I specifically put my house phone on file because a handset is right next to the computer I am using for work. This last problem began on Friday. I noticed that I was low. I have a severe anxiety problem with talking on the phone (ten years of abuse working for call centers), so it took me a few days to get it through the automated system. Friday morning, after 6 AM, I put in for two refills and counted the pills. I have enough until Sunday, I figured they'd deliver Monday and I will just be a little late in taking them.Monday comes around and I only get one prescription. I have confirmed with my provider that there are refills. So, I call Beacon. I do not remember who I spoke to (I remember it was female). I managed to get a few words in. She kept cutting me off, did not let me finish what I needed, and claimed that it was probably the provider holding it back. Then, there was some mumbles about the system not taking the prescription. She offered to get it to me tomorrow, despite me saying that I was completely out and I NEEDED MY MEDS. She could not guarantee it and hung up.Around 5:30 PM, I went to check my mail, which is just a slot in the door. There was a note on my doorknob about missing my delivery. No phone call, nothing. Just said to call the pharmacy again, time and date came. I was in tears. With severe anxiety, I spoke to another person at Beacon (again, cannot remember her name). She also kept interrupting me. She got my name wrong first. Then, she confirmed the driver came, but kept asking me if I was going to be home. I reassured her that yes, I am home almost 24/7, and confirmed with her the phone number. Her attitude towards me questioned everything I said. I literally had to explain what was going on.When I mentioned the issue about the drivers, she told me that she did not know what I wanted done, did not know what to tell me. A few seconds later, I told her I hoped she would tell someone. Her response was noncommittal and dismissive. One of the managers called back. He kept saying sorry about the issue. That is all he said - SORRY. At this point, I am burnt from the customer service received and anything from anybody has no value. I have enough people and companies in this town that spit on me. I do not need my pharmacy to be one of them.

If you want to buy make up or wait 2hrs to be degraded- go to cvs or walgreens. If you want to be treated like a real person with real issues- BEACON IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!I was recently in a very terrible event, at my previous pharmacy- regardless how I felt physically......They mentally put my mind at ease. When the prompt comes for speak to one of our friendly staff - THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! If there was 100 stars I would give them just that. Todd, Sue, Teddy and rest of the staff are just hands down the BEST! The pharmacy takes great care of their customers unlike any other pharmacy. Stay local, support local and support small businesses as this one always! Beacon Prescription is the BEST and my #1 spot for all my and my families scrips.

This pharmacy is great! I admittedly came in irate due to the fact of having a sick child and leaving a voicemail that I felt wasn’t returned, even though they have multiple lines you can leave messages on. After speaking to the nurse we traded barbs but she understood I wasn’t personally attacking her. I could tell she deals with many people projecting their emotions onto her. After speaking further we both agreed communication through multiple parties not only Beacon could of been better. She then took it upon herself to follow up multiple times with my son’s pediatrician until all medication was received. I appreciate this because dealing with multiple parties is never easy. I apologized to the nurse numerous of times after and this story just shows how amazing their service is and I will continue to utilize them.

None of the chain pharmacies were willing to order the specific manufacturer of medication I need and I found Beacon by happy accident. Super friendly, willing to accommodate my needs. I'm done with the big names, and using Beacon from here on out, it is worth it to drive 20 minutes each way because they came through for me when no one else would.
