“I didn't expect to give them a 5 star, but their truck stopped on our hilly street and delivered them on our long gravel driveway and picked them up. Without getting wordy, the uboxes were stored for 6 months and the contents were dry and undamaged when we unloaded them 1800 miles later. No issues whatsoever.....I hope future moves go this well. “I spoke with Claudia of Customer Service/HOP Energy. I had two areas of questions. First, I recently enrolled in paperless billing and wanted to know the process of paying my invoices. Second, I had received an email in my spam folder from DocuSign that I thought might be the executed contract of my new Price Cap Plan but nowhere was HOP or Valley Oil identified. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant. She walked me through the payment process. She asked me questions about the DocuSign email which turned out to be legitimate but nonetheless emailed me another contract directly from HOP and waited patiently while I signed it. It was a pleasure working with her.”

He also thoroughly checked the rest of the unit for any problems. None were found and the boiler was up and running in a very short time. “We have used River Valley for years and always very impressed with the service. This week was exceptional. Snow storm Monday. We lost power until 4 pm. That evening I realized we had no hot water. Tues, we called RV at 8 am and John ( tech) was at our house by 8:45. He determined that the hot water tank was shot. Wed morning the crew is here with a new tank. BUT they can’t get up our driveway due to the Wed morning snow. John, the owner, drives down to Killingworth in his pick up with a plow, and plows our driveway. By 2 pm, I’m taking a hot shower!!”
“We have used Mirabito in Portland CT for years as our oil delivery service (originally Peterson Oil), and they have been great. The office personnel are always friendly and helpful. Automatic deliveries have always been on time. Price lock-in contracts very convenient for budgeting purposes. During the unprecedented blizzard a few years ago when our long, curvy and hilly driveway looked like a luge track and no way a large oil truck could navigate our driveway, Mirabito brought oil in a small truck to fill our tank. So, when it was time for us to replace our 26+ year old furnace and oil tank, we went directly to Mirabito (they also did a great job a few years ago installing a new air conditioning unit when ours failed). The sales representative, Corey Johnson, for years was a technician who in fact had serviced our furnace many times, so he possessed the technical knowledge to clearly explain in layperson's terms all options so that we could select the right tank and furnace/boiler for our needs. The install was scheduled for a two day period a few weeks after our meeting. The installers, Jason, Nate, Jeff & Jay, arrived on time and did a very professional installation of the new oil tank, furnace and upgraded thermometers in the anticipated time frame. We barely knew they were even here other than the trucks in our driveway. Everything is up and running beautifully. I would definitely recommend Mirabito Portland CT for your installation needs! Don't wait until you have a failure on your old equipment to think about updating your old systems.”

“These guys are great they service my work site they come by fill up all my machines the delivery driver is awesome never complains comes by very frequently to the point most times I don't even have to leave the pile to go fill up my machine he comes by so often and when I change sites I need a delivery they come by the very next day if I could give six stars I would”
