Services done on vehicle that was not agreed upon. Service manager attempted to fear monger my wife. Cashier at the checkout was useless and not willing to assist. Everyone stay away from getting cars serviced here. I will never get any of my cars serviced here. Bunch of criminals. Avoid all of the greaseballs here - no reason to trust them whatsoever.

This review is for their Sales Department. My wife and I visited Schaller Honda without an appointment for a test drive. From the get-go, we were treated in a friendly and professional manner. Our sales consultant is Rob Hensel who was very knowledgeable and accommodating, especially as we were considering both new and used models. We greatly appreciate his straightforward/upfront yet no pressure approach, which made the experience way more pleasant compared to what I have experienced from car dealers in the past.We highly recommend Schaller if you're looking for Honda vehicles. Our positive experience here was such that, even though our purchase plans changed, we felt compelled to write a review nonetheless. Look for Rob Hensel, specifically, and you won't regret it :)

I went to see a car. I was not going to drive it. Even though driving the car was not into consideration, the saleswoman wanted to scan my driver's license into her phone. I told her NO. She insisted and asked me to allow her to scan it in the office equipment. Because I found that so weird. I told her NO again and again. When I got home, I searched why a dealer would do that and found out that they could run my credit with my driver's license. I already have the bank I am going to do business with. I am a middle-aged Hispanic woman with a heavy accent, which does not have anything to do with my intelligence. Do not give them your driver's license unless you want them to run your credit. Thank you. BUT NOT TODAY!

I took my car into Schaler Honda for service and they smashed it up. Art Schaller has done nothing to help us! I would advise anyone to stay away from this bad group of people. Beware there is no reason for their bad behavior! The service tech from schaller honda was driving our car when he smashed it up. Schaller has done NOTHING about it in three months.

They sold us a 2019 civic with a bad control module. I've had the car for less than a year and the bad module caused 2 batteries to die so we had to pay to get the battery replaced twice and they wouldn't cover it under my warranty. I brought the car for multiple checkups regarding the electrical and battery problems and not once did they determine the problem of the bad module. Each time I brought it in they reassured me everything was working properly, but then the battery would die again within a few months. Last month the battery fully died for The second time and we had to get it replaced. I brought it to the dealership and demanded they fix the problem because this shouldn't be happening. After 10 months of complaining to them they finally discovered it was a bad control module. They sold me a bad part and by a time they finally figured out the problem, I was 100 miles over warranty and they charged my $700 to replace the module. Basically, Schaller Honda sold me a car with a bad part, the part costed ME money to replace 2 batteries, then they charged me FULL PRICE to replace the bad part that they finally discovered A WHOLE YEAR LATER, and then wouldn't let my warranty cover it because I was 100 miles over the limit. This is the third car my family's bought from Schaller, and until this car we've loved them, but I'm furious about this. They gave us a bad part and then charged us to fix it. Absolute scammers and I hope no one else makes the mistake of purchasing from them like I did.

A complaint was filed with the State of CT Dept of Consumer protection, Honda of America and the Better Business Bureau. The service dept of Schaller Honda tried to scam my insurance company by billing for an expensive part that was never installed. It failed because benefits were not assigned to them. They then called me and threatened to bring me to court for fraud and theft if I did not pay them $1500. This was a scam gone bad And they need to be investigated for their business practices.

Absolutely horrific. I purchased a 2011 bmw with 60 thousand miles on it from here in March. Just had to bring it to the garage come to find the timing chain entirely seized up and now I need a whole new motor for my vehicle. Absolutely absurd that I need a new engine for a vehicle I bought 5-6 months ago. Now I have to replace the engine with no type of warranty and will be out 5 thousand dollars plus the loan I still need to pay off on the vehicle itself. Utterly absurd.

Absolutely not. I am not normally a person from these reviews but I just don't understand how they run business. Anytime I have called this place over the last five years of living in New Britain they are always completely busy and rude. I called just now to see about replacing a starter and the lady transferred me to parts which was fine, but immediately the guy was extremely disrespectful like why are you picking up the phone if you hate your job so much? I mean he was rude to the point where I said never mind and hung up and I'm not a person who makes it a point of hanging up on people because I feel like it's disrespectful . I'm very faithful about sticking with people when they are good and they have always been a last resort to call and every time they find a way to disappoint. No thank you.

If I could give zero stars I would. This dealership is absolutely terrible!!!!! It took forever to process our paperwork for my son's car. I was with my father 82 years old who wanted to buy a car for his grandson...and we paid cash. I noticed that they do not treat women with the same respect as a man and made my poor father wait for over 5 hours in the lobby. Brought the car to Executive Honda for service and they told us that the windshield wipers were not factory installed and would cost $90 to replace the entire mechanism so that future blade replacements are only $10. Why Schaller did this, I have no idea. I have shared this Schaller experience with many of my friends and everyone of them who has delt with this dealership has stated that they had a terrible sales experience and the service department totally scams you. Too many other dealerships in CT that provide MUCH better customer service.
