“Hi most everyone is friendly unfortunately 1 cashier with lines of people I'm in front of cashier (happened on 2 occasions) after waiting my turn the cashier answers the phone and proceeds to take call no I'm waiting for her to finish conversation with phone I said isn't anyone available to answer the phone was told the are under obligation to answer phones when they ring per management I thought that was crazy Thinking I've waited on long line now I have to wait another 5 min while there's a phone call finished with order & low & behold two mgr types come out of the office and stand staring in my direction Customer service is better than average also having to pay to be a member to get discounts is so 1950s mentality”

“I cannot thank Elizabeth in customer service enough! I had had an issue with blinds. Once she became aware of the issue, she cheerfully and professionally launched into action to rectify the problem. More than that, she diligently updated me often so I knew exactly what was going on with replacement and the timing. In fact, even when she was heading out of town for vacation, she called me while en route to update me! That is going above and beyond. This service by Elizabeth was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. So attentive, concerned, considerate, professional and pleasant. Thank you Elizabeth for everything! I could not be more satisfied --I am thrilled now with our blinds, you and Rings End!. THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!”

“Starting off with 5 stars - I have been doing business with this particular shop for 2 years now. I have had no repair done, but I've bought several items and lots of consumables where I needed to be sure they were brand name. The place is a very standard showroom for Stihl, Toro, Honda etc. power equipment with the exception of it's normal width and depth. In this industry, business tend to stay in locations when they've far outgrown their space because "being where you were" is the #1 reason why you have so much business. It also isn't tucked in some tight area of a small town where it's not far to get to, but it takes close to an hour, which is a big reason I shop here. You don't get much variation in prices with manufacturers setting prices, so it's just left to how you're treated and who has inventory. I've only dealt with one person in the times that I have visited so I assume he's the owner or manager. He's not a "stand around and talk" kinda guy, but I've never seen any edge of an attitude or poor response. I tend to go in and know just about (if not exactly) what I want, and he gives me the options or tells me something doesn't exist (I have a lot of ideas that apparently only I thought of). To me, these type of transactions are as straightforward as you can get, and the other reviews (for being single stars) didn't go into enough detail to really explain the full situation. If anything changes, I will update my review to reflect that.”

“Not a hardware store. If you're in need of roofing or siding material, this is the place.Located off Main St. in Danbury, close to I84, this is a good place to purchase materials should you be working in the Western CT region.”

“Convenient electrical supply house that has most common items in stock at reasonable prices. Always best to call ahead though, because they may not have what you need. If they do, they'll have everything ready and waiting for you at the counter when you get there.”

“Located on route seven here most of the shopping. Huge parking lot and lots of great items. I don’t come here often, but when I do it’s worth the trip. I was looking for a corner piece for weeks at the big box and hardware stores. My last trip they told me try tractor supply. They had exactly what I needed and had a great price. lots of great items for the farm, garden, hunting, etc.”

“I was fighting basement flooding and had to get a new sump pump desperately. I'm not a handy person and truthfully only had a vague idea what I needed to do so bought one from home depot, but when I got home I realized my pvc pipe didn't fit on the new pump.. i went back to home depot out of my mind until I found Mr. Tony.. he turned what seemed like a colossal process into a small one by hooking me up with a galvanized pipe nipple which fit perfectly. It sounds silly but Tony sir you saved my bacon amd have no idea how grateful I am. Thank you”

“I have had many issues with Home Depot, however this time was one of the best. I want to give a shout out to the manager, Rob. I was in twice trying to get a turf carpet for my daughter, both times no one was there in carpeting to help me. The 2nd time, Rob, the manager, gave me his card and told me to email him exactly what I needed and he would have it delivered the next day (which was her birthday). The order came at noon and the perfect time, as the birthday girl was very surprised. Thank you”

“The business model/attitude has gotten much worse. I can't stand when I am in the store during the day and you constantly get kicked out of an isle so they can move pallets up or bring down. This stocking activity was always done at night. Now you have to wait while they do it during the day. Today I tried to get to the pvc trim and this is what I found. Talk about a hazard!”

“Update:: Changed 1 star to 4 because I spoke with store management and they were deeply apologitic. I felt like they were on top of the issue which made me feel much better about my future with Home Depot New Milford. I really love walking through those isles. When an employee feels free and comfortable to say "I don't like you, sir" you know there's something wrong with the way the company hires. I shop at home depot 1 - 3 times a week. I've had mostly good experiences and one or two bad experiences with employees. As we know it only take one bad experience to taint an otherwise good relationship. Today, I had a technical question about a dado blade for my table saw and was looking for a hardware specialist. I asked the older man with the thick accent that mostly works the key kiosk if there was a hardware specialist around. He asked if he could help me. I had a feeling my question was beyond his knowledge base but gave it a try any way. "I have a question about saws." "What kind of saws?" Home Depot employee asked. "Table saws" I said. The employee just stared at me. "Table saws" I said again, and the blank stare continued. I said once more and it appeared to click. "Ok sir what's your question." The employee asked. "This is an 8 inch Dado blade and I have 10 inch saw, is this the ideal blade for my saw?" "Yes it's what we have in stock." The employee answered. That's not what I asked, so I rephrased. "Is this this best size for my saw, or do they make a 10 inch blade?" "It's what we have in stock so yes.." The employee answered. "Annoyed that the employee was clearly misunderstanding, I said Ok thank you and walked away, at which point the employee in a stage wisper said, "I don't like you, sir..." At which point I turn around and said "Excuse me?!" "I just don't want to give you the wrong information sir" He said, pretending like he didn't just express a very personal private negative feeling about a customer loyal to the store... I'm loyal to Home Depot but experiences like today make me think twice about my loyalty. I'm very disappointed in this example, of type of person Home Depot chose to hire. As an employee I have been tested to the limit and would NEVER think of uttering such sentiment to a good, consistent and nice customer.”

“I just LOVE this store! Whatever you do, find DEBBIE M.- a very helpful sales associate. I went to buy several ceiling fans and flush mounted lights and got lost in the lighting dept. Fortunately, I found Debbie M.!! She got an extra cart, found all the items I was looking for, and pushed the cart to the checkout area- and checked me out!! She was the most kind and knowledgable, and really cared that I found what I was looking for! They have a fan for life!”
