“They fixed my snowblower. Concerned about engine failure - seized? Not quite. Still don't understand. Now runs as before problem. Also fixed other parts, which now work better. Not cheap, but thorough.”
“My business partner needed an important pvc fitting to repair a fish tank earlier today and he found his way here. As he describes to me, he called ahead to check if the part was in stock and the employee said it was and after arriving and browsing the store (which apparently had a impressive selection of well organized, clean supplies) he found the part and went to the checkout where the employee had already picked out and kept a seperate one just in case the others had sold out. This is clearly a hardware store above the rest, great service like this should be rewarded, please go here instead of a giant corporate store!”

“Shout out to Newtown Power Equipment. I bought a brand new Airens Deluxe 28SHO snowblower from these guys. What a very professional business from the first guy I met down to the owner. They delivered my new snowblower last week and after they left, I realize it was something wrong, like a lot of vibration. I called them up and told them about the problem. They came and picked it up. Fixed the problem and deliver it back to me all within a week. This was from Christmas to New Year's when I dealt with them. Highly recommend these guys. It doesn't pay to shop at Home Depot or Lowe's or any of the big box retailers for equipment like this, they don't give you that service. Shop local and buy local.”

“Hi most everyone is friendly unfortunately 1 cashier with lines of people I'm in front of cashier (happened on 2 occasions) after waiting my turn the cashier answers the phone and proceeds to take call no I'm waiting for her to finish conversation with phone I said isn't anyone available to answer the phone was told the are under obligation to answer phones when they ring per management I thought that was crazy Thinking I've waited on long line now I have to wait another 5 min while there's a phone call finished with order & low & behold two mgr types come out of the office and stand staring in my direction Customer service is better than average also having to pay to be a member to get discounts is so 1950s mentality”

“The business model/attitude has gotten much worse. I can't stand when I am in the store during the day and you constantly get kicked out of an isle so they can move pallets up or bring down. This stocking activity was always done at night. Now you have to wait while they do it during the day. Today I tried to get to the pvc trim and this is what I found. Talk about a hazard!”

“I have had many issues with Home Depot, however this time was one of the best. I want to give a shout out to the manager, Rob. I was in twice trying to get a turf carpet for my daughter, both times no one was there in carpeting to help me. The 2nd time, Rob, the manager, gave me his card and told me to email him exactly what I needed and he would have it delivered the next day (which was her birthday). The order came at noon and the perfect time, as the birthday girl was very surprised. Thank you”

The food truck in the Home Depot parking lot in Danbury is an absolute hidden gem. We stopped by “real quick” and ended up talking about how good the food was the entire drive home. Fresh, flavorful, and made to order — you can tell they take pride in what they’re serving.
The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s the perfect reward after walking the aisles debating paint colors and power tools ?
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and skip the drive-thru — grab something from this truck instead. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re picking up “just one thing” from Home Depot! ?✨”
