Farmington River Tubing is a fun Connecticut attraction on a great river suitable for all ages with no special abilities needed. It offers a perfectly run experience with friendly, helpful, professional, and attentive staff. Visitors can bring their own tubes or pay a fee per person for a tube and life vest, with staff holding keys and providing a bus ride back to the parking lot. The terrain is mostly smooth and easy to navigate, though some river spots are choppy and rocky while others are flat. The area feels very safe and never too cramped. Facilities include porta potties, changing rooms, and food for sale. It is an adventurous and wonderful experience, creating great memories. Recommendations include calling ahead to check conditions, wearing water shoes, and bringing a personal life vest for comfort.
Not for the feint of heart. Legitimately scarey sometimes if you are younger or elderly. Most people that go bring coolers and just drink/smoke the whole ride down. If that's your vibe you will have a great time

The water is cold but the sun is warm. Keep your butt up when you hit the shallow parts. Don't panic.
