Liquor Stores near New Hartford, CT

“This is a no frills package store but it's conveniently located for locals using this plaza. It pretty much has everything you'd need in terms of spirits. Large cooler of domestic, imported and microbrew beers, hard liquors, and bottled wines. Every package store has something others don't and this one has its share of hidden gems which puts it on my go to list for certain liqueurs or brands. The best thing about Marandino Spirits is its good natured permittee, Vipin. If something you buy regularly is out of stock or not being delivered, he'll call the distributor or commissioner until he gets it back in on a regular basis.”

“I don't know why you would shop for wine anywhere else. No matter who you ask in the place, they all seem to know quite a bit about wine and are very good at making pairing selections if you give them the information about what you're serving. The staff is very friendly and always very eager to help. Their prices seem as good as anywhere so there's really no reason to shop anywhere else.”

“Was looking for Limoncello and was just about to give up when the employee behind the counter came in with a clutch play and found their last bottle for me, I appreciate you guys, thank you so much”

“I started coming here simply because it was the closest package store to my house. I don't usually leave reviews, but the people that work here are always so so nice. They help you with whatever you need, give you recommendations, and let you know if there are any sales or deals going on. There was even a gentleman who helped me put my items in my car without me asking. The selection is wide and always has what I need in terms of wine, beer, or liquor. They have some mix ins like pineapple juice etc. And they do have ice if needed which is helpful (small bags, not the larger ones found at grocery stores). Highly recommend!”

“Great local place to fulfill all your alcohol needs (and non alcoholic drinks and items too). Great for a quick stop, in and out. The one thing that separates them is that they have a rotating selection of single beers, oftentimes from local breweries. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable and friendly!”

“Ken's is located where Kay-Bee Toy Store used to be, randomly on a quiet road to the airport. It's next to a feed store, and parking never seems to be a problem. It is surprisingly huge inside! I'm not sure what I expected, but it goes on and on. It's well lit, with lots of space to move about (nice ambiance if you have an unwieldy purse). There are lots of displays for different kinds of liquor, as well as space for beer and wine. The prices are pretty reasonable with the area, and offer a good range. For example, you'll easily find a low cost bottle of wine, but you can also find something to gift at a higher price point. All the popular liquors are present and accounted for, and there are adorable minis up front! The cashier was friendly and offered his assistance as needed.”

“Wine wine wine - calling all wine lovers there's something here for ANYONES budget! All good and have come here dozens of times for gifts, wine clubs, and even notice they hold educational classes here and will order you specific items upon request. Special (more expensive) wines upstairs for more special occasions!”

“A nice selection, they always treat me very well. Younger male employee approached me and asked if I needed help. He pointed me to the ciders and it was nice of him to offer help!

The young lady in wines was very helpful and knowledgeable. Huge selection always daunts me as I'm mainly a beer drinker but I will be back!”

“We specifically came here for a Sugerland moonshine. I was on the hunt for the eggo flavor which we haven't had since the distillery in Tennessee. I was so excited to find it and added to that I found a birthday cake cream too! Selection was great and now I have my new stop to get my favorite moonshine!”

“Small but mighty alcohol selection if you’re not looking for anything too fancy (ex: craft beer, sours, etc.) Employees are always kind & professional. Wish they were open until 10 but no package store in Winsted is unfortunately, so that’s okay??”

“Good vibe for a package store and not shady, seedy, or anything! Places like this really make me want to support local more than places like total wine, etc solid selection of wine and spirits (all good stuff)”

“This wine and liquor store is located in the same building as Petal & Paws and Canton Creamery. It's located on the corner of Cherry Brook Rd. and Route 44. The parking lot was spacious. The store had a wide selection of hard liquor, wine, and beer to choose from. The prices were pretty comparable to other liquor stores nearby. The customer service has been good; except for one time, their registers were down so it was cash only (not their fault, but a quick heads up to let us know before we shopped would've been nice, luckily we had cash.) We find ourselves here quite often because it's local to us and convenient. Overall, a good spot to get some wine, beer, and liquor!”

“Ledgebrook Spirit Shop is the place to get all of your liquor at a very reasonable price. They offer a wide variety of all liquor, wine, and all your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages! They have tasting periodically so definitely check them out!!! Staff is wonderful and is always bringing in new items. The store is very clean and packed well so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. If you have a hard time deciding or need a recommendation ask for Anthony he will be happy to help you!!”

“Amazing Grapes is a beer, wine, and spirits store located in West Simsbury, CT. There are about 4 other stores in CT. There were plenty of parking. The store was medium sized and organized. We found everything we were looking for and the employees were friendly.

I've been looking for this wine brand for a while was able to find it here (Jam Jar). We also got some other mixed drinks. The prices were decent and the selection was great. I'll be back soon!”

“Idk the gentleman's name but he is great. His recommendations are always on point with what I'm looking for. Also seems to have limited edition bottles and some from years earlier. Thank you for our orange mango margaritas with our Don Julio 70. Delicious”

“The Village Spirit Shoppe seems very similar to most small town liquor stores I've been in. The selection is small, but unless you're looking for a very specific bottle of wine, you'll find something to suit your needs. It's probably more expensive than a town like Torrington where there's more competition, but you're the one in Burlington needing some sort of alcohol, so let's assume a convenience cost. (Honestly, I don't know if they are even higher priced. The bottle of wine I got seemed reasonable to me.) The proprietor offered to help me find what I was looking for, and seemed happy enough to be there even though it was after closing time on a Sunday. Perhaps he sensed business was still coming! They're located on the quieter side of the plaza, sharing a building with Creative Concepts Kitchen and Bath, so there isn't any parking issue. The store has a cooler of beer, wall of liquor, and about three small aisles of wine. Mixers and non-alcoholic drinks are also sold.”
