My iPhone X froze. Couldn't shut it off to reset as I normally do. Took it to my phone carrier's store & they pitched hard to sell me a new phone. They recommended to upgrade it. Just as second thought took it to Apple Store in New Haven. Logan at the Genius Bar unfroze it, ran some diagnostics & said my phone is fine. Despite that I wanted to look into an upgraded model. Sales gentleman Howard looked my phone said unless I'm looking for a better camera my phone is fine. Such honest services & recommendations. These guys are true class acts!

This store lies about their Apple care policy and tried to scam me!!!!!!! I had my warranty within the time and they lied and said I would have to pay full price but when I called Apple support they said that I was correct and that they had no idea where the store got that information from. That boy William needs to do his job properly, he could’ve cost me hundreds

It’s been second time I visit this place and it is totally dissatisfying. I had to wait more than 30 min for someone to help me out and at the end they managed to raise the price up to 100 dollars more than what was on the price tag!! Extremely dishonest staff that do what ever it takes to rip the customers off . One star is too much for them. No convenient parking lot on very busy roads. You would definitely get better deal any where else

My desire to visit the New Haven Apple Store predates my iPhone ownership. The inviting atmosphere of those big glass doors, showcasing the latest Apple products, drew me in long before. Recently, I received AirPod Pro 2s as a gift and purchased a case for them through the Apple Store app. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering a Gen 3 AirPods case, and canceling was impossible since it had already shipped.Hoping to exchange for the correct case in-store, I anxiously awaited my order arrival. However, my visit turned out to be less than satisfactory. No greeting, no inquiry about my needs - when I finally got a chance to speak with an employee, I clearly requested exchanging for the correct AirPod Pro 2 case.The employee's coldness was disconcerting. He didn't introduce himself, and his demeanor made me feel unwelcome. This discomfort escalated when I was asked for the purchase receipt. Unable to find it, I requested help from the employee, yet his curt replies offered no solution.The awkwardness intensified as he relentlessly probed for a receipt I explained I couldn't locate. Finally, he accepted my Apple ID email to look it up on his end. Though he found the receipt, an exchange wasn't possible. Instead, he refunded my money, forcing me to repurchase the correct case rather than paying the price difference. Needless to say, I left deeply disappointed.My hope for the future is that customers have positive interactions with Apple employees who genuinely enjoy and excel in providing excellent customer service. Effective help should not come at the expense of unnecessary "probing," which ultimately leaves customers feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable in your stores.I will not come back and have decided that I will take my business to the Trumbull store instead.

Spectacular service crew. They let us try the new Apple Vision Pro headset and it was a great experience. We had their undivided attention for at least 15 or 20 minutes during the walkthrough demonstration. Kudos to them. Excellent service like this is rarely seen anywhere else!

I scheduled an appointment with the self proclaimed geniuses at the Genius Bar for 6:45 PM and am still waiting at 7:15 PM for a genius or employee to show its face. There are clusters of employees talking and giggling amongst themselves and this entire operation feels like I'm in a bad episode of a situation comedy that never left the pilot stage.The time is now 7:17 PM and I still haven't been given an update by any of the employees as to when I'll be seen by a genius at the Genius Bar. Complacency is the enemy. It's fascinating to me that these people remain employed by NOT working.I'll be leaving momentarily, when I'm done leaving this dismal review.Apple, you're tone deaf on a multitude of issues but this is just beyond the pale. Wake up, because without your customers, you have nothing...Sadly dismayed,Rick Dumas

My phone is terrible the 15 pro. It took 13 hours to download my apps, the manager knew it was too slow and told me it would download in an hour or so I always get Apple Care but I wasn't offered it but I got it latter.

Wouldn't it be smart and a better customer experience, if product pickup and "genius" appointments could actually be scheduled? Apple New Haven does not accept online reservations. Calling customer service gets you NO service. Apparently, service and human contacts are not a priority.

Slowest repair services I’ve ever experienced. It’s always “we’ll be back in two minutes” while you sit around for another 10. I’ve come in twice for simple repairs and have had to wait upwards of 40 minutes each time. This time around, I waited for 45 minutes for them to finally tell me that they were “currently unable to send my AirPods in for testing” and that if I wanted to keep waiting around I could while they tried to figure out how to fix their internal order system. Just terrible customer service.Also, they will just provide inaccurate information. I heard one technician say to another repair customer that it was “impossible” for Apple products to get a virus or be hacked. That’s simply wrong. This store always makes me question my loyalty to Apple.
