I received an unclean car with half a tank of fuel. I dropped the car off on 1/14 (which was a Sunday, after hours. I deposited the key in the drop off box). The next day on the 15th, I got charged an extra $125 for returning the vehicle late when I returned it on time the day prior. They listed I returned it on the 16th (on the 15th lol). That day hadn’t even come yet. A few days later, they tried to charge me roughly 3.5x my original quote for my rental. I would recommend just about anything over this company and location.

Very happy with service and car. Got a 2023 Camry and my wife loved it. Convenient location in airport with easy access to car. Will do it again!

It was terrible. I received a damaged front passenger undercarriage damaged vehicle in a dark parking lot with no assistance tried contacting them next morning after I could see it the assistance I got was not good could not get ahold of any one that could help was told to call damaged vehicle assistance and it would not work the 2nd day finally got a number of internet and could at least file a complaint and log it.....we shall see what happens

Worst Rental Place in CONNECTICUT GAVE US A BEAT UP RENTAL . CAR WAS DAMAGED ALL AROUND THEY DID NOT INSPECT the car nd trying to charge us $1,500 for damages we did not cause I do not recommend this rental place for nobody !!!!!!!!!’!!!!!!!! I’m telling you worst experience I ever had jn my life they sat there nd laughed at us when we came to complain

Rental was dropped one day earlier (before business hours) at Tweed-New Haven Airport (Conn.) on a Saturday at 08:10 a.m. in the morning. An additional day would have started at 11:00 a.m. Counter opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and the keys were right there in the drop box (and the car in the lot). Avis refuses to admit that they did not record the correct time but chose an arbitrary time of day, definitely resulting in that additional day. Second, their final statement claims the tank was (8/8) full at pick up, while it was only 3/4 full, returned at 5/8th full (3 gallons less), yet I was charged over $75 for "fuel services". I will never touch AVIS again!!! My suggestion to anyone is: If you can, only return the cars during business hours so you get a correct return time!!!

We had to rent a vehicle here and I was little skeptical at first due to the multiple bad reviews they have. We arrived around 10:00 pm and they helped us pretty quick. I already had my reservation made weeks ago so I just had to pick up the vehicle. The staff was helpful and quick to get our vehicle.Our reservation was for a Kia Soul but they gave us a Toyota 4Runner instead which we really enjoyed. When we picked up the car we noticed it had some damage and took some photos since they didn’t do a walkthrough with us. We did notice the car inside was a bit dirty but other than that it was pretty good.Drop off was really easy. We just dropped it off where we picked it up, filled out the drop off form and dropped it in the drop off box. This was probably the easiest part of the whole reservation.

This Avis is slow and needs a preferred lane/board to help. I landed with 1 other plane and it was super slow to get a car like 45m waiting in line. It’s 2023 I have a reservation it’s all done no need for lines like this.

Helpful front desk workers, however, cars are in pretty dirty shape. Lack of organization in delivering the rented vehicles. Vehicle was only found when an attendant drove to find it on another part of the airport.

Very poor customer service. They had a take it or leave it attitude. They gave me a dirty car with a flat tire and proceeded to tell me there was no slow leak. They pumped it up with the pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter and didn't get it to the right PSI. I had the car for 4 days and had to fill the tire up twice. Horrible service and work ethic. I don't think any of the cars were cleaned. They said they'd clean mine but it would be another 20 mins. Really, how about have every car ready before the customer gets there. Come to find out they charged me an extra $66 cause no one was there when I dropped off my keys.

Unorganized with only 1 employee. Their cars are terrible. While waiting in line I witnessed 2 other renters return their newly rented cars for nails in the tires and gas gages being documented incorrectly. The guy behind the counter was overwhelmed, unfriendly and rude at times. I don't recommend this facility for rentals at all. Avis and Budget are run independently by a horrible contractor.

So difficult to find parking to drop someone off. I had an email with a discount and when arriving it was difficult communicating with the staff. There was a language barrier & he mumbled. The contract was not explained. I would not recommend this car service!

I complained that after I was unable to travel to the airport due to a problem with the flight, Avis charged $150 to cancel my reservation within 24 hours.I am not happy with Avis's policy, but the local manager was able to resolve this to my satisfaction. Thank you very much!
