BEWARE! B of A has been sitting on almost $75,000 of my 92 year-old mother's stolen funds since 7/29/2022 from a forged check scam. Three of my mother's checks --written from a Citizen's Bank account -- were forged and brought for deposit to a New Haven B of A branch. B of A recognized that the checks were forged and stopped the money from going to the thieves but REFUSES to return the money to my mother. They last told us that there is nothing more they can do. This is elder abuse! An elderly woman's savings -- literally saved by a school teacher -- is being kept by B of A, a huge corporation rather than returned to its rightful owner. All research, paperwork, verification etc between both banks has been completed; police reports filed, everything in order and B of A REFUSES to return the money. The following people in their bank fraud dept are directly complicit: Britney, Supervisor and Andrew, Supervisor. When I last spoke to both of them they refused to connect me to their legal department or ANYONE else in the bank because we are not B of A account holders. Andrew told me to go open a B of A account at a local branch and "maybe they would talk and give more information." I can't believe this can happen but I am now talking to others who have had a similar experience. We're going to the FBI, and talking to news media about doing a story on this B of A practice of keeping retrieved funds from bank fraud rather than returning funds to their rightful owners. Meanwhile, my brother and I are paying for my mother's care.

Hahaha whole new meaning to banking hours. Closed on the weekend. Closes early. At 10:10 am on a Friday, one teller for the 10 customers waiting. Idk why they need so much space and 4 computers up front. You'd think a Branch Manager might jump up front and help these customers be on their way. He's in his comfy chair.

This bank gave me a hard time cashing 2 checks written out to “cash” from an account at this bank, then once agreed that they have to cash it, they want to charge eight dollars for each check they cash. This is the experience I got after waiting 20 minutes in line with a single bank teller attempting to help the people in line and two other bank associates simply sitting at their desk observing. The finish to my wonderful experience was the best however when they asked if I wanted to open an account here!

No line, easy in and out. Great location for me. Everyone was nice to me.

This branch is consistently unreliable. Either closed or dealing with some kind of issue - this has led to numerous issues when needing to get something resolved. Very frustrating.

There WAS a good staff there, and perhaps still is, however, a customer can't visit except on Friday and Monday. It's an outrage.Better to close the location and inform everyone. Be done with it and stop the disappointment.

Very long wait times.

Very slow service. You have to wait one hour or more to get little things done. I won't prefer Bank of America to other people.

Professional staff. I came here to create my bank account and got it immediately. No waiting line. Would be great if there is water offered to customers

Don't come in here if you just need some help from a teller. I came in after lunch (around 2pm) on a weekday because I needed some change I couldn't get from the ATM. One person was being helped at the counter and another was standing in line. I figured it wouldn't be that bad of a wait... so you can imagine my dismay when I was still standing in line 20 minutes later. Although there were other staff members in the area, not a one made an effort to help those of us waiting for service. Even when the line swelled to EIGHT people waiting in line for one teller. I managed to get my change after half an hour's wait, and doubt I will ever return to this branch again.

I spent over an hour here thanks to Bank of America Head Office not having its act together. Which isn't the best way to spend a sunny Saturday. However, the staff here, especially Laura were great and followed up to get my problem resolved. Maybe not a fun day out for the family, but worth a visit if you're in town.
