Machine tends to be broken more often than not. Very frustrating.

The staff there is so rude, we went there to do the notary, they didn't want to do for us. Their attitude was so unfriendly, I am so disappointed with their service and won't come to this location again!

I do not have an account at this branch but I have to go monthly to pay my rent to my landlord who does have an account here. At the beginning of each month I receive a statement in the mail along with a deposit slip and prior to the 10th of the month I go to Bank of America to make the deposit. There is always a security guard out front which makes me a little bit nervous. I would say the tellers at this bank are neither friendly or unfriendly they are just doing their job nothing special about this place at all.

My family walked out of a Bank of America branch at 100 Amity Road, New Haven, CT today after waiting a solid hour trying to add a signatory to my in-laws' checking account. We were told the wait would be another 20 minutes at least--an hour 20 minutes in total--a little long for such a simple transaction. We have now returned home after celebrating the holiday and are no longer available to complete the required forms. I could blame the branch manager (I. W.) for her rudeness, but I wonder a) why tellers are no longer empowered to do simple transactions such as this; b) Why the branch manager was the only person in the entire branch with this authority; (Does she get to eat lunch and take bathroom breaks?) and c) why are they putting tellers in the position of having to deal with dissatisfied customers such as us on their own and without support? How much money are they saving by not adequately staffing this branch? People still need to transact banking business between Christmas and New Year's, and the consequences to a customer of not having their required signers in place can be very damaging. By the way, my in-laws have been Bank of America customers for 51 years.

I went into bank at 9:00 am , when it opened. Not one customer in bank. I said I wanted to open an account. The teller checked the computer and said next available appt at 12:00 noon in 3 hrs. Someone who appeared to be a manager of some type , confirmed that. All the personnel had appts till noon. I said , really?? Not one visible customer there. I said that is absurd..just want to open an account. I told them I would have to go to another bank then. That didn't bother them. I walked out to Wells Fargo up the street. Manager opened account in 5 minutes. Now I'm bringing back 2 more family members that will open accounts this week to Wells Fargo in amity. A walk in bank, turning. Away customers when no other customers were there? Bank of America, you just lost about 5 customers, and more..

I've had BOA for only 6months now and every month I have to contact customer service to resolve whatever problem I'm having. BOA makes duplicate payments, my account info was compromised, they charged me fees that customer service assures me would not be charged to my account, they were supposed to issue me a new card but the request was never processed so 2 weeks later I had to file a complaint and request a card again. They put a rush on it assuring me 4xs they would wave the $15 fee but they still charged me for it. After contacting customer service for the 3rd time this week it was corrected. If you're looking for a great bank GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE THIS BANK IS NOT IT.

Great bank! Staff are very friendly and helpful. We use this bank for many accounts, including a mortgage, equity loan, small business account, and general banking. All are very well done. Online bill pay is a life-changing convenience, and other touches like seeing your check deposit image on your receipt are nice. Interest rates are good, especially if you can get the Yale mortgage discount. My only small gripe is the ATM... the touchscreen is setup for handicap access or someone very short. If you are tall and try to press where you think the buttons are, you will often hit the wrong thing. But you can either crouch a bit or just adapt. Notary public service is a great feature too. Convenient location in the Stop &Shop plaza. Overall this is an excellent bank and I highly recommend it.
