couldn't find the info I needed when coming here for the first time, so let me tell you what I learned:The machines are operated using a laundry card, which you load at a "value transfer machine." To buy the card ($2 deposit which you can get back if you return the card when someone is on duty), you need EXACTLY $2. So bring ones. To load the card you can use larger bills, but they will not refund anything you put on the card. 1 washer load is priced $3.75, and dryers are $0.60If you select English, the machine will only let you check your balance, but if you select Spanish, you can purchase and load a card. I do not speak Spanish but the machine is still manageable I promiseHopefully this helps if you haven't been here before. I was very happy with how quickly the washers ran & how big the dryers were!

TLDR: Do not go here - they may lose your garment, replace it with someone else’s, then gaslight you and insist it’s yours. DETAIL: Surreal experience. I’ve gone here happily for around three years, doing ~$50 worth of cleaning monthly, lovely staff. Then they lost one of my shirts and instead I got a similar shirt back, clearly not mine, w little bows on the collar and cuffs. The ?British manager called, nervous, and blamed me, telling me it must be my shirt because I’ve sent it to them for cleaning before (not true). Surreal - it’s a weird shirt and not mine. I shouldn’t have to emphasize this, but I know when a shirt is not mine. He agreed he would follow up to let me know what he’d do about it… and instead of eg reimbursing me $50, or simply apologizing, he just never followed up after the call. Terrible management, live a block away but intend to never go there again.Ps - like some other reviewers, also love Flora and Elvira

I've been going to bubble and squeak for well over 15 years, reliable, friendly, consistent. I now have washer dryer at home and will still come down to wash my heavy duty comforters. Love this place. Family owned and operated. Thumbs up!

The place is a bit cozy but you are able to get a quick wash and dry laundry experience at an affordable price. Staff was friendly and attentive to there customers. Not a stranger to a speed queen experience. If you are looking for a helping hand in your laundry management they don't mind helping out. What... work.

Clean, new machines, reasonable prices for self-washing, convenient ATM. Would be 5 stars if they enforced the COVID-19 guidance that's posted on their door. Big issue is that at least one of the employees doesn't wear a mask and I'm not sure what the ventilation is like inside, and over the past few weeks, I've seen others doing contract work for the facility who are also not wearing masks and laundromat users who either don't wear masks or who have the masks under their chin and are eating. It's stressful, especially with cases as high as they are in the city.
