“I’m giving this 5 stars for the actual church itself. Beautiful church, I wanted to love it, but the parishioners need to learn how not to talk in the church. Conversations are for outside or after Mass. Not before Mass and at full volume. The congregation is very old, no young families here. Unfortunately it seems like it may be a dying church.”
“The 180 center is devoted to life change by the word of God daily. I started by coming to the church service on Sunday, and eventually went through the men’s discipleship program. I spend a lot of time there still because the people there have become a family to me. From Pastor Mike and all the staff, the program, and all the people that come in to grab a coffee and catch a class or just to come in and stay warm or cool. I’ve been able to witness people soften and change from the love that is shown here, myself included. It’s been pivotal in my development as a Christian and in turning my life from homeless and addicted to drugs to a solid, housed, employed member of my neighborhood who can show up for life and family. Huge thank you to everyone involved. Also the free coffee is decent, and Fernando does a good job on lunch.”
“Friendly welcoming church. They have food and clothing help on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am. There might be other days and times. Call for more info on other events.”
