Do not use for investments: when tax time comes and you need to know your contributions to your account they wont have the information unless you pay a fee. That is after you go through endless hoops of waiting on phone being told to talk to the mutual fund, who tells you to talk to the bank, who tells you to talk to the mutual fund....

Call 24 is horrible I'd give it a negative-5 if I could typical bank call center you call up happy thinking your gonna get things worked out then you hang up mad because they run you around on the phone only to give you a number that'll bring you through the same garbage all over again.

I've always had a good experience with this Credit Union. It's never crowded, and every one is always nice and polite.

I do not recommend doing business with this company. I am a card holder. I filed a dispute because Empire carpet wrongfully charged my credit card for a job they did not complete and I did not sign for. It took 6 hrs of my time to write down all the documentation and then money to fax in because they have an antiquated way of sending in information(no ability to email..just fax). After 2 months of nothing, they pay out the thousands despite the fact that they have no signature from me authorizing it. I call into connex to find out why and I was informed that the decision was made in my favor due to all the documentation and 1/2hr later, someone randomly reversed it with no valid reason. So basically you can be a card holder and someone could wrongfully use it and you will be responsible for the charges despite the fact that theres no documentation of you signing or authorizating. Thats pretty scary! Im only now seeing all the bad reviews and its clear that this company, like so many others these days, doesnt care about the customers.Go to a bank that does(and NOT Wells Fargo either as they have been sued so many times).Btw- I will be transferring my balances as a result of this once my 0 apr is over.

Mandy sometimes comes off as really sarcastic. She talks to me like I'm stupid when I'm just trying to get a better understanding of something. The condescending tone she has is so degrading. I had my problems fixed anyway, but I left upset because the service was so bad. She may have been having a bad day she had no makeup on and seemed irritated (she usually looks more presentable) but that doesn't make it okay to get upset with me

Lots of ineptitude & attitude. Horrendous teller service (with one exception, manager seemed troubled abt my experience, was nice). Having been relegated to only doing business at drive up as of 3 weeks ago due to covid (?) the average transaction time is 15+ minutes. Just for a withdrawal. I've cleaned my entire vehicle while waiting in line. Only open 7 hours some days, they still work at the speed of molasses in January. I moved here recently, this is a co-op w my credit union. I need to open an account in CT. It won't be at Connex, that's for sure.

I transferred a balance from another account. I knew there would be a transfer fee, what they didn' t tell me that I would be charged a transfer fee every month. This can't be legal. How can you keep charging me a fee for the same money? I have been a member since the 70's, but I am considering looking for somewhere else.

I am really getting fed up with this bank. I have been a member for over a decade and cannot believe how poorly they treat their members. It takes over a week for them to return a phone call. I went into the guilford branch with 5 rolls of quarters and the teller insisted on opening and counting all 5 rolls one by one. I ended up being in the branch for 30 mins while he had to recount several times because he lost track. The orange branch maybe the worst. They take forever, they are even worse if you use the window. I'll be shopping around for new banks as I have complained several times to management and nothing seems to get better.

I love Connex. Was with them since I closed my garbage bank of america account for charging $5/Debit card transaction in 2009. I've had very few problems and I've gotten a few loans from them. The employees are sweethearts every time I go to the location, I can't recommend them enough!
