I brought my wool coat here to be dry cleaned as I brought a dress here years ago that they did a good job dry cleaning. Upon pick up, the texture of my wool coat was RUINED! When I confronted them about it they stated that it’s just part of the risk you run when you dry clean a fabric. I was given the Milford store number to speak to a manager, they told me to call back to speak with the manager, upon call back the manager still wasn’t available and I was told to call the New Haven store which stated there isn’t the slightest thing they can do I should call the Milford store again to speak with the manager or owner. They’re claiming it’s because they ran it through the dry clean cycle twice. However no other portion of my coat has this texture! They aggravated the fabric to the point that it has ripples and refuse to make it right. Still waiting to talk to a manager, will update with a resolution
UPDATE: I called the Milford store again to speak with the owner, they were once again unavailable. I was offered to have my coat cleaned again. However, my coat was ruined in their care so I’m reasonably hesitant. I was asked what resolutions I’m looking for and I stated repair or replacement and I was told the owner said no to that, I asked how they could know as I just asked the question seconds ago they stated that it was “never an option, best they can do is to clean it again, it’s up to me” I asked when and how I can reach the owner they said that they don’t know when the owner will be in, I asked when I should call back they stated they are unsure. I asked if I should call on the hour daily in hopes of catching the owner and I was told that I should do so if I want to. The attendant was being short with me and was only looking to get me off the phone giving responses like “okay”, “sure” “if that’s what you’d like to do” once again I asked if the owner had a phone number or email. The owner suddenly had an email to be contacted by which was shared with me. I will reach out again but I’m not hopeful as this establishment seems to have a bent sent of morals. If you damage an item the least you can do is repair it or replace it.

Called to ask if they do alterations, they said they do. Walked 30 minutes to get there, and turns out they don't measure for alterations--they only do them if you already have measured yourself how much you want it altered. Should have told me before I walked over! Very confusing and atypical!

Above and beyond in customer service. I dropped of a formal gown that I needed the next day. When I went to pick up my gown, it was not at the location. The woman from the Milfred store drove to New Haven right away and brought me my gown. I was so impressed by that level of customer service and recognizing my urgent need! I will continue all my business with them as a new customer, as well as recommend them to everyone I know!Service: Clothes pressing
