I was quoted *$13* over the phone to replace a couple broken wheel studs and lug nuts, and I was instead charged *$318.60* for the work. I made it explicitly clear to the tech on the phone that I cannot afford any expensive services right now, I just wanted an oil change. The ONLY reason I approved the stud replacement was because I was expecting it to cost $13, NOT $300. The workers here are always blankly unsympathetic to my needs as the customer.
On top of this, I'm pretty sure it was the Firestone's fault that the studs broke in the first place! I took my car to another mechanic to change my brakes and he pointed out the cross-threaded nuts, but we needed to get the wheels off, so I told him to go ahead and remove the nuts anyway. I watched/heard the studs snap right in front of me.
I will never go to Firestone again, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid them as well.

Got brakes done with Firestone in May. I paid $1300 a month and half later they were squeaking, I brought it back cause I needed an oil change anyways and mentioned the brakes. Employee at the counter said they’ll check and told me they were rusty but fine. After the oil change 5 days later there was a pool of oil in my garage. Brought it back they said a gasket was cracked, fixed it, mentioned brakes again front desk employee said tech said they’re not squeaking for him but they are still squeaking for me, they told me to bring it back they’ll order parts. Haven’t gone back yet. Don’t want to pay more money again and keep going back and forth

I was traveling to New Haven from Canada and my car had a flat tire. I came at 8 o'clock in the morning and was told that it will take a whole day to repair the tire. Fortunately, I didn't choose to wait here. I went to another car repair shop and the staff arranged for me to jump in line and repair the flat tire in 10 minutes for only 15 dollars

Went in for an oil change and an alignment. Got called to say my car was ready. When I picked it up, I was charged for an oil change and an alignment. Started walking away and remembered to ask for the paperwork of the alignment, only for them to say they didn’t do it. So, I paid for an oil change and an alignment and had I not asked for proof of the alignment, they would have just taken my money for services not rendered. They offered me a refund but I decided to stay and wait for the alignment to be done. At this point, all trust was lost and all I can do, is hope that both services I was charged for were actually done and done correctly.
Had they also been more apologetic about their mistake, I wouldn’t have left this review. Taking accountability is so important.

I recently entrusted my car to Dave at Firestone, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Dave's efficiency was remarkable, addressing the issue promptly without sacrificing quality. He was fair and transparent with pricing, ensuring there were no surprises. Most notably, Dave treated me with the utmost respect, listening to my concerns and providing clear explanations. His friendly demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Dave and the team at Firestone for anyone seeking reliable and respectful automotive service.

Please save your money and find another mechanic.
I’ve spent many thousands here trying to keep my car operational. Every time I come in, they seem to find ways upsell me and fix everything but the core problem. I’m the fool for insisting but this is the last time with Firestone. Don’t make my mistake…

Three hours for a set of front brakes. Anyone who works with cars KNOWS it doesn’t take three hours to change brake pads. I checked to see what’s going on? They were all sitting on there phones. I’ll never come here again first and last time!!!
