I told Danielle that I was letting my hair grow and was just there for her to trim the top a tiny bit. She proceeds to give me a short man's haircut! Why didn't I say something? Because she took a huge chunk off one side, so it had to be cut on the other side. I have 2 functions this weekend and I am NOT happy! I won't ever go back.

This salon is a small gem in the Amity/Westville area of New Haven. I had my first haircut at Great Clips in the spring and was pleasantly surprised by the easy check-in process, clean modern facility and the wonderful stylists. I've had three more cuts since early April ... all fabulous. Both Annie and Danielle took the time to get to know my preferences and then meticulously gave me a great cut each time! They carry hair care products (which I haven't yet tried) and can provide a few other hair services. The prices are amazing and if you save your receipt you can get another dollar or two off your next cut. Definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Great first experience! I walked in and was greeted by Annie who was extremely friendly and helpful! She took me right away. She listened to my concerns and provided me with a great haircut. No nonsense and I love my cut! I will be back! :-)

Love this place!! Friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Danielle was my hairdresser and made feel at ease immediately! Very happy with the results and will definitely be a repeat customer...and I will be bringing my friends with me next time!!!
