The women working there today on Monday August 11th 2025 are sexist! They don’t ID the 5 men before me, they don’t look super old either, but the second I a 30 year old female walk up, they ask for ID? You can’t just not ask everyone but ONE person for ID and then expect me not to get upset and not take my business elsewhere. It would have been fine if I wasn’t the ONLY person asked to show an ID out of 6 people and I happened to be the only female! 100% would recommend going someplace that isn’t sexist and only IDs women but let’s any man no matter how old they look buy whatever they want without proof of age. I would have understood if the men looked super old but they couldn’t have been much older than myself if not my age. Definitely seemed discriminative! I used to love coming here to get a drink every once in a while but it seems recently every time you go the staff gets worse. You should be asking EVERYONE for an ID not just the women because that’s seriously a problem!

Directly to the owner of BEVMAX in New Milford CT, very sad when you go to the establishment and there are people who treat their customers badly, I went on December 1st between 3:30 / 4:30 pm to pick up a DoorDash order from a customer and for the second time I had the misfortune of being with the same attendant who mistreated me a week before, I don't remember her name (young, white, a little fat) ignorant, stupid, rude, arrogant, this second time she The owner of this commercial establishment is going to check the internal camera and see what this unfortunate woman did to me, she is not a person worthy of working in this place, my wife started shopping at BIG Y a few months ago and decided to buy drinks at Bev Max because it was more convenient for her, I told her what happened and said that I would not go back there while this unfortunate woman was working in this place, I have many friends and acquaintances in New Milford and I have already told some of them what happened to me, many of my friends will certainly not come back while she is there, if the owner does not take appropriate measures with this employee, many will certainly go to other liquor stores, if you, the owner, do not know, the competition is very high and your loss of customers will If it's big, I won't be back either, I believe they will take the necessary measures before it happens again.
