One star is generous. Years ago I left a great review for this location. They used to have it together. Within the last year or so, they have neglected to call if medications are being kicked back by insurance, out of stock, or taking longer than previously promised refill time would take (which has happened countless times for all members of my family). On top of this, they are unapologetic. I work in healthcare. I've worked in both front end and clinical. This is not how a business should be run. I've heard positive things about Big Y pharmacy. If you're looking for a new pharmacy, try there.

The pharmacy is a nightmare, u can't call & talk to a pharmacist if you need, u have to leave a msg & hope someone calls back, ridiculous if you're having an issue with a script, I had to go there because they messed up 1 of my scripts, ugh

I’m so sorry I switch my scripts to CVS East Street New Milford. The drive up has random hours. Since an event involving my back, the walk to the back of the store and waiting in a really long line, standing for an unreasonably long time to get my pain meds is nearly impossible. Tonight was the icing!! My doctor at the pain management clinic sent a new script that I needed today. I received the usual text alert that the pharmacy received it at 6pm. He sent it over much before and at 7:35 when I went to pick it up they refused to fill it until tomorrow. I was faced with an unsympathetic staff who seemed to enjoy telling me I will have to live with it. Awful, snotty girl with red hair, a color not found in nature. Rude cashier, excuses from the pharmacy manager (short staff, blah, blah, blah ) I’m done here and it would not surprise me if that place is shuttered soon

Cannot speak to a person no matter how many times you call. If I wanted AI I wouldn’t keep trying to get an actual person. Absolutely horrible service!

I can count on this CVS location to have caffeine free Diet Coke in stock.

This is a sad example of a once finely run pharmacy that has declined to a business to avoid. I recently had a shoulder replacement and had been receiving pain meds every week without issue. All of a sudden the scripts are not being filled. Since we can’t actually talk to anyone we are told to leave a message on their “easy to use” automated voicemail system. No one ever gets back to you. So, I had to get in my car and drive there to speak to someone only to be told that my provider suddenly is not sending the script in properly. The notice says they are contacting my doctor to clarify. Never happens. I’m the one who becomes the person stuck in the middle trying to rectify the issue. There is no longer any patient care. This is a poorly run business by people who are overworked and overwhelmed by low staffing. People are quitting left and right. They now have a doctor who was brought in to straighten the mess out which I was told includes “compliance issues”, over opioid drug scripts. This is a terrible situation. I have now been without pain meds for over a week now. I am seriously considering switching to Walmart. ?♂️

Another discouraging day at CVS. This store doesn't have much going for itself. Not enough workers, long lines because of all different kinds of problems, medications not ready when you arrive, could have been called in three days earlier and it will still be in process, medication not in stock, billing is not done correctly over and over, and customers are not satisfied in general with any of the services. You can only overlook so much. If it wasn't for my husband not wanting to change over all of the many different medications I wouldn't be dealing with CVS.
*** June 6, 2024 * Now CVS has a different calling system. You can't talk to a pharmacist, you have to leave Voicemail. You tell them the problem and ask to be called back and they never do. Two days of calling and I had to drive to the store only to find out I need a new prescription. That's why my medication was billed wrong, again. If they would have called me back I would have found out what the problem was. They never called doctors office for new prescription.
** Also was told that they now have a new manager so things should get better. I don't think the manager was 100% to the blame. But they have to blame someone. I think CVS is most of the problem. This CVS has a high volume of customer's. They need more employees and training. They are not able to keep up with the demand.

The customer bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Disgusting. I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. How does such a big corporation not have enough money to keep their bathrooms clean. And located in the health clinic area of the store. Greedy corporations.

Tremendous lines every time, dramatically understaffed. No such thing as a visit under 30-45 min.
