I recently had my transmission replaced here, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, the team was professional, honest, and kept me informed every step of the way. The work was completed on time, the price was best, and my SUV now drives smoother than it has in years.

Kevin is a great mechanic. I had a power steering problem that I thought required an expensive steering rack replacement. Based on my description, he thought it was plausible and priced out a replacement. But he did a thorough diagnosis and it turned out to be a partially seized u-joint. He fixed the problem that saved me half of what I would have paid otherwise. Auto specialties is an honest place that does great work at reasonable prices.

these mechanics have no basic knowledge for diagnosis.
you will end up paying higher amount of their mistakes after they work on your vehicle

if you need a intoxalox device def go here. I had it installed elsewhere and have had problems for months. he went through everything, found the problem fixed it and explained it all to me. highly recommend them for all your needs.

I had a leak on my gas tank, two places told me they didn't know what the problem was and to call a dealer. I looked around and found Auto Specialties and gave them a call, i told them my problem and told me to bring the truck down. The found a hole in the gas tank so i thought i would need a new tank. They told me that they might be able to repair it, when they called me and told me they made the repair i was thrilled, they did a great job and saved me the cost of a new tank., i would highly recommend this place and i will bring all my trucks there in the future. Honest people like them are hard to find, Thanks again.

They were OK my car's transmission is kind of hard to find so it took them a while in a while but I had to buy used one so they took out a trainee that made a lot of noise with a trainee that makes a little noise so it is what it is but paying 14 almost $1500 for a used transmission that still makes noise kind of sucks but it is better than the old 1

I’ve been living in Newington for a while now, but have yet to find a reliable mechanic since I moved to the area. I have been here twice now. Both times, I didn’t have an appointment but was provided prompt and professional service. Beyond that, I appreciate how thorough they are and how they try to do the right thing versus just trying to charge for random things that may not be as critical to your car. I’m also impressed by how quickly they were able to fix my car - in 1 day. I highly suggest you support this small business over some of the franchised shops in the area.Services: Brakes
