Jess and Sue are great nail techs. The owner is rude and needs to learn to run a business.
Me: hi I have a 5 o’clock appointment with Jessica and I’m running late so just wanted to see if that’s OK or if I should reschedule.
SILENCE
ME: I’m about eight minutes behind.
SILENCE
ME: hello is that OK?
Him: no that’s not OK
Me: OK so I should reschedule?
Silence, then hung up on me. 😮
Obviously I went elsewhere for that time.
Now, 3 weeks later, giving it another chance just because of the great nail techs, and he is definitely hanging up when he sees my ph#. I wasn’t sure at first. I’ve tried several times on different days and each time it rings and then I get a click.
My daughter calls right after and no problem getting through. So petty!

My nail place was closed today and I didn't really trust any other place, my nails needed to be done badly. I had a gel manicure from Nov 3rd with 3 nails with no polish lol it was bad. I live less than 5 minutes from The Nail Bar, and they took me right away, Ines did my gel manicure and I think she's the best. My nails were shaped evenly, no spots or air bubbles on my nails, I love a simple manicure and that's exactly what she gave me. Ines please never leave, I need you to do my manicure again! This place is also very clean, quiet and relaxing. I will be coming here again. Thank you <3

I came here during the pandemic because I absolutely LOVED their cleaning procedures! We were repeat customers for at least two years until my mom caught a nail fungus on her feet for the first time ever in life. We weren’t sure if she got it there because they have always been clean but there were new staff coming in. She stopped going to heal her nails which took a whole year. Anyway, one day I got home after a pedicure and by that evening my feet smelled so badly which isn’t my norm. I immediately knew that it was from my pedicure. I stopped going. I went back 3 days ago after 1.5 years and left happy. However, tonight, I can smell my feet standing. Now I have to remove the toe polish and soak my feet in epsom salt and tea oil for days to ensure I don’t get a fungus. Please disinfect the pedicure pools correctly or use liners! I really love this business but the cleanliness standards have declined.

Really nice nail salon. Very clean. Do nice gel nails. No dip here though. They are always very nice to my kids and do not rush them even though they're little.

I Actually went in for a pedicure. And I stated to the girl that the polish peel the last time I was here, And that I’m going to get regular polish. The owner came out and asked me what my problem was. I have no problem, He told me he didn’t like my voice, He said you were late. Than says you ordered gel pedicure and now you say you want regular polish please leave, After she took the polish off my toes, so I’m walking around with polish on my big toes and no polish on the other toes. That’s very bad service if you wanna ask me. I went there about 2 months ago and I got a pedicure for myself, and my granddaughter, and the gel polish peeled within a week. There’s not an excuse for that. Unless it’s old polish. He was upset that we were late, there was an accident. I still have the girl a $10.00 tip. It’s not her fault he rude! I’m thankful that I still have a regular nail tech that does my nails for the last 15 years. Sassy nails in Vernon, Connecticut. They are fantastic.. I just came here because my girlfriend wanted me to come with her so I figured I’d get a pedicure with her.. never again!!

The worst place ever. I went in April to get a gel manicure done. The guy charged me $139, lol! Owner tried to force me to pay cash and then said we don’t accept MasterCard so I had to go back-and-forth to my car to pay with visa. Rude, dishonest, thieves.

Appalling! 1st time I went great experience! It was with a different lady. The 2nd time I went however BIG mistake going @ 6:15 rushed, a HORRIBLE job and the owner was so disrespectful. As you can CLEARLY see below how the owner is.
Part of the pedicure also included the removal of the gel nail polish which took time away from the actual pedicure but whatever the girl barely scrubbed the heel and the GEL NAIL POLISH has streaks where you can clearly see it wasn’t applied well and wasn’t enough gel nail polish. THE OWNER refused to charge me until he was done lecturing me and then onto arguing. My daughter and I had to repeatedly ask him please we would like to pay to be able to remove ourselves from the situation. So to be clear the removal of the gel nail, the rushed pedicure and the lecture and the owner arguing ALMOST an hour. I walked in at 6:15 was told to pick a color the removal of foot wear, sitting, removal of gel polish, refusing to charge me until he was down being so disrespectful and in front of others it was almost a hour.

Absolutely horrible place, I am from out of state and i am in CT for 3 month and this guy doing my nails trying to argue with me as to why I do dipping powered on my nail! I came to get my nails done not be lectured! Horrible service!

I walked in for a pedicure and everyone was staring at me. It was extremely awkward. But after that tiff in the beginning I had a good time. Their prices are reasonable and the pedicure was nice with a hot stone message.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!!
If you are looking for a nail salon that is relaxing very attentive to detail and does an amazing job???? This is your place!! I have been seeing Sue for a little while now and she is AMAZING!! There is not a single design that girl can’t do I can gladly say that I have never been disappointed with how my nails have ever came out!
If you’ve been looking for a new nail salon this is the place to go!!

My boyfriend got a normal pedicure there. He ended up with infected feet, had to get antibiotics to cure it. We do not recommend the Nail Bar.
